I read this story this morning on the way to work. This war has no winners, we all lose. Why are we there? Freedom does not begin or end with US invasion, history has taught us that…so exactly when will this eight year war be over???

This isn’t about freedom it’s about profit. They can care less about the Iraqis and Afghan people or terrorist it’s all about a profit. When the Tsunami that hit in Sri Lanka US at first twiddle thumbs as to what to do and then only when international outrage came to the US attention, that’s when came to the rescue. When the genocide in Rwanda occur, the US did very little. In Bosnia again they had there thumbs up there behinds. I could go on and on but y’all get what I’m saying. The US only come riding in when they can benefit from it.

My brother has just been deployed there, thank God I heard from him today and he’s all right.

My prayers are with the servicemen who lost a fellow friend and the family who loved them.

Alicia Keys’s new song was posted after this and it is ALREADY on it’s way to 200 comments most likely…and at THAT they ain’t even good comments but just negativity about he said she said bull about what’s going on in her damn personal life like WTF?!? WHO CARES about Alicia and who she screwin!! Our men are dying out there on the battlefield STILL fighting President Bush’s pointless war that wilL NEVER see an just looking at the pics of the casket and Obama’s face alone made me teary eyed but the video just finished it 4 me….but my question is why are people SO caught up in the lives of stupid celebrity’s, who in return could care less about you, then they are in their own lives….and to those who says this doesn’t have anything 2 do with your life your LYING because anyday one of the loved ones we love or someone we know could be pulled into this bullcrap of a war…..i’m telling u man America needs 2 wake up and smell the coffee and get with REALITY!

Now a man stands and salutes troops but can’t make up his mind to send more. even though the General (he appointed) says he needs more. After spend over twenty years in the military I find this amazing that the commander and chief would take over sixty days to make a discussion.

When r they gonna bring those soldiers back? It kills me everytime they send them back dead, i can imagine their families’ pain why people why? God this war is so pointless and unnacessary there’ll neva be a winner why can’t they just let it go and bring those soldiers back alive for once!!! don’t get it

If you don’t know why our countries at war then I suggest you get off the internet, stop stalking these damn celebs and go educate yourself about what’s going on in the world before you go talking out the side of your neck.

This hits close to home for a lot of us, especially ones who’ve lost loved ones in the war, or who are SERVING and/or DEPLOYED.

This comment isn’t for everyone, but it is for the people who obviously have no damn clue what they are talking about.

The reason there aren’t many comments on posts like these is because most of the people who follow this blog are looking to dumb-down their own reality through obsessing over the lives of entertainers. Who wants to think about the men and women being killed for our safety when Rihanna’s new single is about to drop? Who wants to think about the messages the Obama’s are trying to send in these events when the color scheme Michelle’s outift needs to be addressed? It’s truly sad, but it’s human nature to respond to difficult situations with distractions.

No they are not dying for me and you…they are dying for nothing…BRING THE TROOPS HOME ..before its too late…they are needed here more on home soil then anywhere else…why cant the powers that be see that!! MORE ACTION-LESS TALKING……

Barack Obama promised to get troops out of Iraq in order to concentrate on Afghanistan so I don’t think we are close to seeing an end to this.

First, we are not at war with Iraq. Iraq is a nation that we are attempting to rebuild and protect from terror. The Iraqis as a people are not at war with us. They are at war, as we are, with terrorists, like Al Qaeda. Some Iraqis and other nationalities, however, are terrorists.

Regardless of why we entered the war, we are currently there to prevent Al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations from establishing a foothold to expand a radical terrorist regime, or Caliphate, throughout the Indian Ocean area, and ultimately the world.

Al Qaeda does not have a nation. But they would like one. And Baghdad is a great capital city to begin a radical Muslim terrorist regime. To begin a radical Christian terrorist regime, there are many other choices.

As far as bringing the troops home from Iraq, it all depends on the elections that take place this January.

Hopefully the outcome will be good for us troops because a lot of us are ready to come home.
