I think Beyonce is a sweetheart for real that’s why almost everybody love her in the industry from Mariah Carey to Oprah. I mean when you’ve everybody from Anita Baker, Sade, Stevie Wonder, Debbie Allen, Bono, etc…coming out to see you, you got to be the real deal. MJ and Prince love her also. Prince has played her songs during some of his sets. People tried to start mess between her and Jennifer Hudson during Dreamgirls. Then, it turned out that Jennifer got a picture of Beyonce in her house, went to Beyonce’s recent tour and always says such nice things about Beyonce. I didn’t even know that Beyonce had did 40 Make a Wish visits during her career. I just caught that in a little blurb on another website. I think that she does a lot for charity work and never tries to really win brownie points.

I’ve seen Beyonce without makeup and with her real hair. She’s a natural beauty. I want to ask some of you how many other female celebrites have you seen without makeup and fake hair? Because I rarely see any of them without both. Aruba 2 Brazil, please most non-black celebrities sporting fake hair also. The weave and other fake hair types were made for the movie industry to begin with and used by white actresses all along. Black people just found out about them and applied them to everyday life. Now, I can turn on HSN and HSN selling weave to ordinary white girls.

I appreciate that Beyonce doesn’t always wear her hair superstraight. She wears it a curly, kinky and wavy. She’s worn braids and afros. She’s been blonde, brunette and a red head. I just loved her hair on the cover of the last Ebony. I think it sets a good role model about the versatility of black hair and that a female black superstar doesn’t care about having pinstick straight hair all the time. Anyway, her hair is beautiful here and I like her dress. She’s a gorgeous girl with a banging body. Her mother is really beautiful. Her mom pantsuit is cute, too. If I look as good as her mom does in my 50s, I’ll be a happy woman.

The versatility of Black hair? Surely you must be kidding. B is always seen with human hair weaves or wigs, and let’s not forget this hair was sacrificed to Indian gods and sold by their temples to hair traders.

I would love to see her wear her own hair instead supporting an industry which takes advantage of the poor, encourages idol worship, and creates a market that scalps little girls of their precious locks all for money.

Dang we wear the hair and do not even benefit from the billions of dollars that support this madness!

    Dear CL,
Please do another article of the hair trade, self hatred, and how it affects our community as well as those that are being taken advantage of.
