If you’re not familiar with her, you should know that Jermaine Dupri immediately signed her to his imprint after she became a YouTube sensation, singing her heart out via her channel, garnering “fans” who made requests on which songs to cover.
The new track is her official first single, and was co-produced by Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox. She is currently in the process of wrapping up her debut album.

I like Dondria a lot. I had the pleasure of Interviewing her in 2008 on my online radio show, and she’s a sweet girl. I love her voice it reminds me of an old school 90′s R&B tone.

I think her voice sounds like a mix between RiRi and Bey…thats just me…Good song though
I like it. BUT I think the production could have been either (1) more polished or (2) more rugged to really complete the vintage feel.
Also, more could have been done with the background vocals – more background harmony.
If they did that it’s be a hit!

It’s OK, unfortunately, I think they’ve picked the wrong time to bring her out. They should have waited for Rihanna and Lady GaGa to do their thing first. She also needs to develop her own personal singing style.

The organs really give it a soulful feel. very churchy. Her harmonies are really beautiful!!

One thing that annoys me about songstresses lately is they tend to overpronounce certain consonants a la Beyonce..especially the “s” and “t”…can make many of them sound the same. The song is good otherwise.
