Fresh off the heels of a world tour, rerelease of her third album, as well as a release of a live intimate performance today, it’s been said that Beyonce has announced that she is preparing an album for 2010 release.
During her final show in the U.K., where she also recorded the show for a DVD that will be released sometime next year, fans reeled with Beyonce wrapped the show with these words:
“I’ll see you in a year with a new album.” [Watch here.]
In addition to the announcement at the show, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, the producer responsible for “Deja Vu,” also confirmed via his Twitter that he is getting in some grind time, working on some tracks for Bey’s upcoming album.
Interestingly enough, by the time the tour DVD comes out next year, her last album, I Am… Sasha Fierce will have been out for two years. People might say that she saturates the market when she drops, but let’s face it, this lady doesn’t do anything but work.

in regards to the album…i think that if it isn’t broken, why fix it? her system is working for her. she puts out an album every two years, and tours in between. she’s still winning grammy’s and remaining relevant. she’s proven to be smart in the business, because just as people will speak negatively of her on blogs, they’re still talking about her. negative or positive, the buzz works in her favor. she is an empire.

Cant believe I’m saying this but I’m looking forward to the album. I’m not a huge fan but she definitely keeps me rockin with her music, gotta give it to her. Every Beyonce album I have I can actually play it straight through without skipping a ton of tracks. She doesn’t waste my money like some artist.

james brown [1960 to 83 without a break, multiple albums per year], stevie wonder [one classic album for every year of the 70's and then some], aretha franklin [61 to 89, two genres] released albums every year or every other year for at least a decade of their lives. which one of them did we get tired of? oh wait, it’s before a lot of people’s time, but the fact that you know their names means they did something right.
whitney houston [only 7 studio albums but so many soundtracks, she made it a form of income in itself] showed us what it really looks like when you see a lot of an artist. and as finished as her voice is, her legacy is one to be reckoned with, when she can perform the way she does today and get away with it.

I am not a Beyonce fan but if I was her I would ride the train until the wheels fell off. No need to have a baby we all know what it would do to her body and she knows too. As much she could use a break, Beyonce can’t really afford to now. Though she is a solid performer her creativity is at a standstill and it is not evolving in a manner that befits her age. It is virtually inarguable that 2009 belongs to Lady Gaga, who has single-handedly raised to bar for pop performers everywhere. Beyonce cannot continue to put out mess like Video Phone and still manage industry edge. So, now is the time for her to go back the drawing board and figure out who she wants to re-invent herself, because now she must.

Jay need to put his foot down, cuz if I wifed dat I would at least expect one kid by now and for her to do some kinda stay at home, wifey type duties for a little while until the child was somewhat older. This new album will be recycled for her new fans. People who have been riding since the DC days know she needs to take a break and find some new inspiration. Her lyrical content has fallen WAY off since DIL. She had to buy If I Were A Boy. No singer of her caliber should have to do that for their lead single. She needs to work on songwriting and come back in two years.

However, as you seen the industry is getting a littlle tired of Sasquatch Seeweed. She hasn’t won anything besides MTV awards for this CD. Or rather she hasn’t won any MAJOR awards that’s better.

According the RIAA when it’s a double disc CD 500,000 is considered Platinum.

Beyonce comes off extremely greedy and it seems like she keeps on putting out music so quickly to keep up with the other singers that are getting attention. Honestly, she is overrated and overexposed, musically. Her album sales have been decreasing ever since her first album. First album, 9 million, Second album, 6 million, Third album, I believe it is somewhere between 4-5 million. When a single (s) from a new album are being badly criticized, she always rushes out a POP single(s) in hopes that the mainstream audience will accept it. It’s ridiculous and just shows how self conscious she is about her work. Maybe if she didn’t rush some much material, it would sound better. I can honestly say that I’m not a fan. Her music is too bubblegum, her voice is annoying and her tone sounds like a young girls or a deep woman’s, and her dance moves are just shaking and gyrating. She can actually sing, has great vocal, ability, and has stage presence, but I just don’t get what all the fuss is about.
