After the announcement of the collaboration and the fluke premiere that was supposed to take place on November 5th, fans have been wagging their tongues for the remix between Beyonce and Lady Gaga for her latest single, “Video Phone.”
The video was shot a few weeks ago in New York by famed video director, Hype Williams. The track, which was produced by Bangladesh and co-written by Beyonce and Sean Garrett will be featured on the platinum edition of Beyonce’s third studio album, I Am… Sasha Fierce, which will hit stores on November 23rd, along with the rerelease of Gaga’s album, The Fame Monster.
Very interesting video. At the start of the video, Beyonce and her handlers walk through the “stargate”, or the portal from the physical world into one of the spirit worlds that exist in one of Beyonce’s altered states of consciousness. That is why the video starts out in black and white, flashes red, and then becomes colored. It signifies Beyonce lapsing into one of her alters. Many of her personalities are showcased here, which is why she appears in so many different personas. The main conveyance in that transformation at the start of the video is that Beyonce understands that she is being closely watched.
The men that shadow her are at the start of the video, and appear as “followers” or “bodyguards” are the same men that become represented as camera-heads in her altered state. The men look as if she is leading them because they do not look directly at her at the start of the video. This is meant to convey that many of the people that are assigned to “follow” these celebrities appear as bodyguards or personal assistants to the public, but are actually these celebrities’ “handlers” and MK-ULTRA programmers, i.e. Michael Jackson and Uri Geller, Usher and Tamika Foster, Beyonce and Jay-Z, Elvis and Col. Parker, etc. These handlers are people that have the keys to the alters. In other words, they know how to manipulate the fractured minds of these “stars”. This is why she is shown tying the camera-headed men up, torturing them, shooting them with bow and arrow, or with guns in her subconscious altered state. It is an attempt to lash out at them and free herself of their control.
The real story is sparsely ever told with the lyrics, but always with the visual, because the subconscious mind is where the truth lies. These video directors are tapped for their ability to tell THE story within A story. It’s double-speak essentially, and will signify certain things at a very base level to the unknowledgeable, and something else to those with insight and understanding. The theme of this visual is that even in a mind-controlled state, the test subject will rebel from what it is being put under, even as the exterior seems to accept what it has been programmed to do. One can tell that the video takes place in an altered state of consciousness, because at the end of the video, we see the real world Beyonce walking as we did at the start, with the altered state of consciousness Beyonce still attempting to kill her handlers. The main thing that this video reveals is that Beyonce and Lady Gaga are under the same programming, which is why they shadow each others moves. Lady Gaga’s presence in a video and song like this is so out of place, that the only possible reason that she is present is to represent the yin/yang, hermetic principle of black and white being the same (which again is why she and Beyonce “mirror” each other). Most of the other normal, demonic symbols and gestures are also present, which are so hackneyed that they’re not even worth mentioning sometimes lol.

I guess I am in the minority on this blog, but I like this video!!! I am not a B fan, I mean I think she is an amazing artist and has accomplished so much in her short life ( more than I ever will) but this video reminds me so much of Kanye’s Golddigger. The colours, the visuals, the makeup, all of the different looks very reminiscent of Kanye.
I think Lady GaGa is HELLA WEIRD,lol, but she really ripped it! I mean you are doing a video with Beyonce so you have to step it up.
