@7: It is ONLY a viral video…Meaning that it doesn’t have a large video budget. I heard awhile back that this was intentionally ONLY for the internet. It was sponsered by a haircare brand (which explains the glimpses at hair-care products/the reason why the beginning focuses on hair). So, maybe that gives you a better understanding.
I think this video is GRAND..Ms. Michele definitely is DOING her thing [hair flips and all]…&& i’m sooo glad i picked up the album (even if Wale’s version isn’t on it)…IT’S A MUST BUY!
I like “What you do” much better, but this will do too, cause I love her! She is so underrated and I hate that!

Concreteloop love what yall did, the Amerie In Love and War backround, im feelin it. Im very dissapointed because Ameries album is not even on Itunes this morning and Rihannas Rated R pre sale is right on the front of itunes albums. Today is Ameries day, like what is the deal? Def Jam needs to get it together its just a mess! Im praying that Ameries album will do decent numbers im just praying cause its the best female r&b album to come out this year, in my opinion i dont care what anyone says!

Def Jam is not only dogging Amerie for Rihorrid, Chrisette Michele is being dogged too. I saw a promotional tease for this video weeks ago, months perhaps, and its just now being seen. But theyre jumping through hoops for little miss frog voice. Come on? What is it? Is it the lack of promotion? Is it a lack of fan base, popularity, financial backing? Its quite confusing for me at this point. I have Chrissy’s album and its amazing! Not to mention the video is whack! But she can only work with what she got.

And as for the comment about us supporting our artists, it doesn’t even matter how many people buy this album, the promotion is what helps these artists!! Hell, you can all ready see how many Rihanna & Beyonce stans (and haters) are on here by the comment count… this thread only has 40 something comments, while Rihanna’s posts are all ready reaching 500+ comments.. It ain’t that many people that respect real music and real artists!
I really dig the video. I know its hard to shoot at night but this feels good. The shadows etc are dope and feels home made in a good way
