LOl at people who are saying that this video is so great! This video was boring as hell! I skipped through many of it, to get to the next scene and it was all the same. I don’t feel the emotion, it looks like bad acting from her. Everything that we’ve seen in this video has been done “Ring The Alarm” with the padded rooms, “Rock Da Boat” with the underwater scene, it’s just that hers was more dramatic and dark… this video is so unoriginal that it’s not even funny. Plus the song is so boring and wack. Her voice is atrocious. Rihanna is nothing but a gimmick and uses tactics, such as the Chris Brown situation, to keep her career alive. There’s some hype surrounding her now, but as time goes by throughout this album, it’ll die down.

Anyhow-
I liked the video, I see where Def Jams budget went, because this was very theatrical.
I do agree to some extent that the message was not to cohesive, I think in an attempt to be “subtle” it became over-styled and convoluted.
But its a dramatic song, that needed a dramatic video. I think RIhanna accomplished that overall so kudos to her! I wonder if her other videos will live up to this one. Especially since she’s releasing dual singles.
