Kyla, everyone doesn’t listen to their parents BUT to what extent? Plus are you even taking into account how many of those children you speak of have parents that’s been doing their job since day 1? Well if you did, they might be like me. My mom has been doing her job as a parent since day 1 by molding me w/ good critical thinking skills. Yes I had premarital sex but not once have I gotten pregnant or even had a scare and never had an STD. Why? Because my mom taught me the importance of a condom, other forms of birth control and gave me common sense to know my future isn’t worth the risk EVER. Yes I occasional swear but I also respect my elders and speak properly. I’m in college, was never held back any year or got any grade lower than a “C” EVER. I tasted alcohol in HS a few times but never to the point of intoxication. It was an experiment which is what most teens do which is why you (the parent) talk to them in the beginning about these things so they know what they should or should not do. I also never took any form of drugs or puffed any cigs/weed. My point is if the parent is doing their job since day 1, their child most likely will curse, have sex before marriage and dabble in alcohol or even weed but to what extent is what’s most important. People should worry about what their child is exposed to only to explain it and teach their child how to make good choices. Censoring life is SO not the answer because we don’t live in a perfect world so your child is gonna see something somewhere. Good children are not a damn blessing; they are a result of good parenting. People should worry about what choices their child are making because TV does not make your child have sex, take drugs or do other detrimental things. What makes them have sex is their free will but what stops them from getting pregnant, STDs or thrown off track is what their parents teach them from birth.

Oh and by saying that many of those are raised by tv, you proved my point from my original post so why were you disagreeing? Girl, bye.
