As the date draws nearer to the release of Alicia Keys’s new album, more tracks have started to leak. Here is the sequel to the hugely popular hit collaboration between her and Jay-Z, in the form of “Empire State of Mind, Part 2,” which isn’t too much different from its original, but mostly more acoustic.
Alicia’s new album, Elements of Freedom is set to hit stores December 15th.
The Empire State of Mind, II is a true song about New York City. It a fast pace environment that makes you proof yourself. If you can handle the pressure and negative energy, you can achieve all your dreams.
I love the stripped down song. I also love “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart” and “Doesn’t Mean Anything”.

And the SHisssh about MASHONDA being her friend is BULLSH**. that trick needed publicity horribly. I just know they were not friends. Just cause they got a couple words in doesn’t mean there friends. She figure she could throw that out there. Friends wouldn’t trash u on the cpu. Tryna gain pity for thereselves. Or would they? But n e way SWIss had something to do with this. N as great as alicia is she doesn’t need a song with beyonce. She earn 12 statues by herself and sold albums with no feature artist by herself. That was way successful wat r ya saying? Jayz probably told her to make a song with b. Which is gonna b a nice one. But she doesn’t need anybody. Her album was already complete but it is gonna b pushed back so she decided to work alittle bit more. Ppl tend to LOVE Alicia beyond this mess she has REAL fans like her to buy her music which WILL sell. Like she said “she says away from the phony and the FAKES!!” she has to remember her LIME-LIGHT is extra bright. So I know she expects this. Everyone rubbing her clit. Ppl r gonna be ppl. Hate themselves so try to hate on others. Instead of that comment on how naturally BEAUTIFULL she is. I forgot got as the seasons changes so do ppl. Haters are always two-sided. N one a mission.
