After much anticipation about the release of the song after the announcement of the top secret video, Beyonce and Lady Gaga finally give us the audio before the visual of their “Video Phone” remix.
“Video Phone” was taken from Beyonce’s third studio album, I Am… Sasha Fierce and was produced by Bangladesh and co-penned with Sean Garrett. It’s rumored that the video, which was supposed drop originally on the 5th, will follow on November 23rd.

Bey also joins Gaga on a track from the rerelease of her debut album, The Fame Monster on the Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins-produced “Telephone,” which will hit stores November 23rd, along with Beyonce’s I Am… Yours tour DVD and the deluxe edition of I Am… Sasha Fierce.
Both songs are wack. Music has really gone to the dogs. Both Beyonce and Lady Gaga are feeding off of each others popularity and huge egos. That is what music has resorted to.
Really sad.
The beginning of “Video Phone”, was hot. It had me kinda anxious to hear Lady Gaga’s part..then I heard it…and ummm…I was supremely disappointed. “Video Phone”, was my favorite track on “I am Sasha..” so I was definitely feeling let down..but w/e…”Telephone”, was slightly better..only because of Beyonce’s vocals. All in all I hope the video lives up to the hype, cause the remix was garbage.

It’s not much different than the original, it just has the Lady Gaga verse added and extra music…I like it though; but I also like the original as fluffy as it may be…sometimes folks just want to be entertained …Beyonce fits that bill. If I want to listen to something that has some meaning..you have artist like Erykah Badu, Lauen Hill, Jiill Scott…
But to each its own..everyone has their individual musically taste..there are enough artist out to satisfy each of us…no need to bash one artist to pump up another….
