Kelis dropped her fans a little gift via her Twitter page, in the form of a new song, titled “Acapella” on Monday afternoon.
The new track is reportedly produced by the popular DJ, David Guetta, who is currently promoting his latest album, One Love.

LOVE IT. It has a techno 4/4 beat which has always been the sh!t. I like where she’s going with this. Beyonce planned to do a dance/electro album but didn’t have the balls to see it through. Good to see more and more black artists and fans getting into electronic music.

It’s so funny that all the fashion styles she has been experimenting in 2007 (and since her debuts) is as trendy now as it as never been. i mean short hairs, colors and stuff. As someone mentinned it, her creativity comes out naturally and that’s what we love about her.

its different when an artist progresses to a new genre, but with this one Kelis went from like hip hop/r&b to pop/dance/electro….
iDidnt really like her voice on the track either.. it didnt sound strong to me. iCld imagine someone like, once again, lady gaga or even britney spears on this track because it fits her type…

Kelis was NEVER R&B..only reason say shes R&B is because shes black. Kelis have never made an R&B album, she has always done dance, euro-pop, techno tracks, even before it became a trend. Everything these girls are doing now, Kelis been there and done it…BETTER. Remember it!
