After freeing himself from The Inc., Lloyd is still keeping it moving. After the release of his last studio album, 2008′s Lessons In Love, we learned that is set to release an independent EP project this December.
When asked about the project, here’s what Lloyd had to say:
“Some of the music is a lot more personal than in the past. It’s about my life. I wanted to tell my own story instead of letting others define who I am.”
The EP, currently titled Like Me: The Young Goldie EP will contain his latest single, “Pusha,” featuring Lil’ Wayne, as well as 6 additional tracks, with collaborations from J. Holiday and Nicki Minaj, Bun B., Juelz Santana, Rich Boy, Drake and more.

I like the song and the whole idea of you getting the opportunity to fully express yourself and who you really are. Bad boys are good Lloyd, as long as they know when to be bad and when to be good. It’s all about timing…anyway I can’t wait to the EP to drop…I’m ready to hear your story.

humm…this song is good not like im gonna listen to it everyday but good !i was readind the other comments about the fact that lloyd makes a lot of featuring , i think he s good alone but colabs are good to be known better ! i ‘m just like sweet eva and tishafr i m french and without songs like “you”, without his collabs with lil wayne he wouldbe a complete unknown for me. So i don’t know if he feels better with featuring , but more people may listen to his music .Whatever,i’m really not into “i’m sexy and i take off the shirt in show to make my fan touch my body” thing(no hating, i think it’s useful too : lot of girls are in loooove him so much lol) but i have to admit that he’s got a beautiful voice ,and really good songs!
