@3- yea, heard that the “I Am” declaration mean “I am God” which is sorta Laveyan’s Satanism (sp?) anyway- People are viewed as gods, and satan is a symbol for decadence and worldly values.
It basically ties in with the Black Gods & the famous 5% percenter belief..

MARY IS ONE OF THE BEST OF OUR GENERATION. SHE NEVER DISAPPOINTS. SHE IS A VETERAN OF THE GAME. BEEN IN IT SINCE 1992 AND STILL GOING STRONG. ALSO SHE LOOKS GORGEOUS IN THAT PIC.

I’m not really feeling her music anymore, this track is okay, but I will admit that Mary does know how to do modern music, without sounding fake and bubblegum. She does stay true to herself. She is a real artist and I think that she should get more recognition for everything that she has accomplished. Why wasn’t she awarded Woman of the Year by Glamour? She makes uplifting and real songs that touches the soul and has helped the world with her music and donations along with other uplifting musicians.
I love it! I’m looking forward to her new CD.

I see some references to the whole baphomet issue, but I must say Mary J. Blige is not part of it. There is no symbolism in her music, artwork, videos and clothing. Mind you she always references God and the bible in her interviews. I honestly believe she is a rightful God fearing woman. The song is simply talks about relationship issues.

How do you know she is a “God-fearing woman”, lol? Which god is she fearing? If Mary J. Blige were a “god-fearing” woman, she would not be allowed to maintain her career in the entertainment industry. No disrespect to you, but I don’t think you even know what it means to “fear” the Most High, and Mary J. Blige certainly does not lol. There is definitely a concerted “I AM” crusade amongst these “artists” (witches). It is very sublime, but when you understand the technicques that they use, it is very transparent. The proof that she is a satanist, which is obvious anyway, is that foundation that she is co-founder of along with Steve Stoute, “FFAWN”, which allegedly is an acronym for “Foundation For The Advancement of Women Now” (L*sbianism agenda). The “fawn” or “faun god” is Pan, who is the precursor of the goat deity known as the Baphomet. Pan was also known as “Faunus”. The song should be called Mary J. Blige – “I Am….a L*sbian and a Satan worshiper”.

I must say, I absolutely love “I Am”! The strings in the song give it even more depth to what she is singing about. The beat makes ya bop ya head. The vocals are signature Mary with her increasing confidence in her vocal abilities. Very catchy!
I’ve heard some of the new singles by the female artists that are coming out in Nov/Dec. Toni Braxton-Yesterday, Alicia Keys-Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart, Rihanna-The Wait Is Ova/Russian Roulette/Hard. All are good singles in their own right.
