Mary is just one of those celebs in my opinion who can put out whatever and still remain relevant. The songs dont even have to be that great its just the fact that its Mary! I see that she is just one of the ICONS of our time, b/c this song and a few others from her havent been “Hott Stuff” they’ve been “Alright Okay”. I love Mary nonetheless, so I’ll always show support!

I will address the commentators who know about the reality of the music industry and the spiritual war at hand. You all are right and I am encouraging you all to stay awake. Where these things are concerned, reality is stranger than fiction.
I was one of those who worshipped false gods and ultimately, their leader Satan. You will realize that no satanist will disown these artists, because they know that they have the same spirit & worship the same god. From my experience in Satanism, I can confirm that she does not worship the true God Jehovah, or is a God fearing woman. Satan hates true christians and wants to destroy them. I remember we would not worry about attacking hypocrites (false Christians) or unsaved people, but only the true believers and disciples of Christ Jesus. We actually laughed at people like Mary J, Beyonce, Rihanna,etc who could deceive so many into thinking they’re Christians and blatantly spread lust, idol worship, seduction spirits, covetousness and the like into the lives of so many. The ignorance of the masses is Satan’s bliss, so people like the commentators exposing Truth will always be persecuted. But I am taking the time out to tell you, do not stop! I was once a captive, ignorant of the liberty and love that is found in the Lord Jesus Christ and if it wasn’t for people like you all exposing the TRUTH about the Living God, I would probably still be in darkness, serving a so called god who hates me and wants to destroy my life, then send me to hell.
In conclusion, you might even come across some Christians who will defend their “favorite artist”/’idol” over God’s Word, but I am here to tell you to persevere- Those are the type of Christian that Satan likes, if it weren’t for them, all these artist could NEVER fool so many people into thinking they are disciples of Jesus Christ! Stay filled in the Spirit, God is not a man that he should lie. He will help you discern these Illuminati puppets and give you the grace to touch hearts with the gospel.
At the end of the day it’s about saving souls. Satan is a liar, he is defeated. I didn’t know that… But when I accepted Jesus as Savior, His Power, Authority and Wisdom filled my Spirit and the veil that covered my eyes was torn.
I am an example that people that are spiritually blinded by this world can change, so keep doing what you’re doing and God bless you all in Jesus’ Mighty Name!!

The problem is some people out there are still stuck on misery in your own life and u want Mary to continue making the painful, heartbreaking, “Im Not Cry” type of songs to validate your miserable life. If that’s what you want, then go cop her old albums.
***Mary’s grown as a person/artist so why would she fake it now when she’s kept it real since What’s The 411. Listen to her old song, “We Ride” & she will tell u why she aint mad no more, catch it***

This is so not a hit, its very dry and and seems to be missing that it factor we as Mary fan are use to. I am starting to get a little tick off. I now see why she keeps pushing the album back, its just not good. this is the 3rd single from the stronger album and i am just not happy with any of them. If this these are the type of songs she going to put out i need to find a new fav singer. she was my last hope for R&B music in 2009. Daaammmnn. well there is always next year
I love this I’m only half way into listening the lyrics are a lot more mature than what I’m used 2 hearing from Mary cant wait for this album, this is one woman that never stops and thats beautiful. she’s got a new album every year now. I hope the music is much more mature than the last one it was kinda mediocre, and real light but i love this song already.

the song is garbage, and it’s not gonna do well. this is mary not even at her lukewarm best. her radio spins might start off decent, but this song just does not carry it’s own weight. as far as commenters saying it sounds like “i can love you”, no it does not. “i can”, has a hard hitting hip-hop feel that “i am” doesn’t. you cannot compare “i can love you” to “i am”. two different songs with two different purposes, and genres. i agree with commenters #25 and #67 mary’s problem is, the fact that not only are her songs on record sounding like she’s not putting that stank on it vocally, the production on these released songs is horrible so they’re sounding like demo material. they had a hit record with “the one” but due to the video not immediately releasing, it failed. if geffen really wanted to make a dent in their sales, with mary j. blige, they’d scrap this song, shoot a treatment for the song “queen”, push back the album a little more, and get it right. i don’t see her album or this song doing well at all.
