Love love love Solange’s artistry. Love the song as well — even tho like #4 the Badu stan in me heard Bag Lady. I just wish I loved Solange’s voice as much.. the LYRICS are from DIRTY PROJECTOR’s STILLNESS IS THE MOVE, and their song only samples this beat in the beginning of the song. correct me if i’m wrong, but the rest of the song uses a different beat completely, not even the same melody (at least it doesn’t sound the same to me) so she sampled from both dre and the dirty projectors. idk why erykah is being talked about here b/c she sampled his beat but her lyrics were different so solange didn’t take anything from her
