Beyonce and Jay-Z hit up the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards held at the O2 Arena on Thursday night (November 5)in Berlin, Germany and both took home awards and performed at the event.
Beyonce walked away with three awards– Best Female, Best Song, (“Halo”) and Best Video, (“Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).” She also used the occasion to thank Jay for “putting a ring on it” (video here). Jay-Z, on the other hand took home an award for Best Urban Act. More photos & performance video below.
Rapper Lil Kim arrives for the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards held at the O2 Arena on Thursday, November 5th in Berlin, Germany. The rapper is actually pretty popular over in Europe is currently on a mini tour and just performed in Holland this past weekend.
Gucci Mane releases the video for his first single, “Spotlight,” featuring Usher.
The single comes from Gucci’s upcoming album, The State vs. Radric Davis, which hits stores December 8th. Usher, who is also gearing up to release his album, Raymond vs. Raymond, will drop on the the same day.
