Rihanna makes at an appearance at Best Buy in Manhattan, New York City to promote her new CD on Monday (November 23). The singer was there signing and taking photos with fans.
One young fan in attendance was Jasmina (pictured below). The six-year old has leukemia and Riri has helped bring attention to her need for bone marrow donor.

Ok I’m not a stan or anything, but I actually like the girl and I like her CD. First of all the little girl doesn’t have sickle cell anemia as stated in one of the previous comments, she has leukemia. Secondly, why does she have to be desperate because she just so happens to be at her album signing? Are you aware that a lot of artists do this? If it had been any other female artists there wouldn’t be so much backlash, but because it just so happens to be Rihanna it’s wrong. Thirdly, can you honestly get mad at her because the little girl wants the album. If there is something wrong or if the music is not suiting her audience, that needs to be taken up with the parents! The CD has an edited version. I’m sure everyone knows Soulja Boy’s “Crank Dat” was way more explicit than the material on this cd yet there’s so many videos of small children doing the dance. If you’re going to criticize one person you have to criticize everyone. As for her clothes… Miley Cyrus has been showing her cakes constantly lately and she’s only what 16? Rihanna is a grown woman and I know she is supposed to be a role model for the youth, but like I said before it’s a parents job to raise their children.

SMH @ simple people for wanting artists to release the same BS over and over again. You can download Rated-R for $3.99 as of yesterday and today, but after that it will be regular price. I don’t see why people are saying “oh it’s $3.99″. Research works wonders… Chrisette Michele’s CD was also $3.99 the first week and topped the charts. I am no way implying that Rihanna will be number 1, but it’s not bad that she’s probably going to land at #2 or #3. It’s still an accomplishment. Yeah just like it was predicted that Russian Rullete would go number 1 and be epic. so far, its a flop. I can’t wait to see how many units she sells when all the dust settles. This CD is the kind that some people may not understand right away but it will continue to grow on them. I keep reading comments on every blog with people saying “that song is starting to grow on me”. Once those people get past the fact that they have issues with Rihanna (for whatever reason) and actually listen to the music they will realize the music is pretty damn good. I got my copy and I am enjoying it from start to finish.

Please, Yes your right, rihanna’s fans were never concerned about rihanna being #1, at least I wasn’t . Like I said before, I am more concerned with the music, and not a #1 status. With her being the artist with the most #1 hits this decade, and tied with Beyonce, I’ll say she’s not doing too bad for herself. There is nothing to be ashamed of, being in the top three of album sales is nothing to scoff at, that’s still a damn good standing. So rihanna is still doing the thing, and doing what she does best bringing in those top ten hits. Remember RR #9 on the charts, and Hard is making its way up. How many hits does GAGA have again? She Still can’t touch ri ri. And did Gaga ever have a #1 album in the U. S herself?
