Michael Jackson did have vitiligo, but there is a process that can make the skin all the same colour. Some people do not like walking around with patches, so they undergo the process.

Not sure what it’s called. Why do people insist MJ did not have vitiligo? Doctors have come out and said it, and there are pictures to prove it. Do your research.

My whole thing is if he did have vetiligo why didn’t he have makeup to make him look dark as opposed to just looking lighter. Its almost as if he had a chance to go either way and he took the lighter option.

And as a note when you talk about race its really a way to CLASSIFY people its not a means of IDENTIFY them. Just think of someone who is domincan, african, indian, african american, cambodian and spanish/latin. Those are all different shades of browns and tans. But they don’t catogeorize them in one category they are all seperated to try to classify the type of people. Just think about that.

Its no secret that a lot of persons of African descent have been brainwashed into believing their skin complexion and traditional features are inferior to those of whites. I’m sure Sammy is no different. Too bad he is going to pass on this inaccurate, damaging belief to his offspring. He could have used his notoriety to uplift others and enforce the notion that black is beautiful, great, etc. Unfortunately, the old adage proves true in this instance… he’s nothing more than a dumb jock.

Issues with skin color often start from people around the person rather than with the person themselves. Then everybody wants to know why the person doesn’t love themselves. We gotta stop the hate in order to stop the self-hate.

Hmm I can’t call it. Same thing happened to me last year. Was having skin issues and the cream the dermatologist prescribed bleached by skin I was about 3 shades lighter than my natural tone. Luckily my natural tone is back now.

Michael Jackson did have vitiligo, and he “bleached” his skin. There are pics and video of him with the condition all over the net. Cicily Tyson said Michael’s stylist created his glove to cover the white spots that started on his hand. Blacks folks need to stop being so ignorant about our health and stop hating our skin and hair. Men deal with some of the same self esteem issues as women and this is a good example.

My cousin had Vitiligo. You can totally tell the different between bleached skin and vitiligo . This dude is BLEACHED. And lets not talk about Michael. Michael actually did have vitiligo, he just bleach the dark patches of his skin so he could be all one color. My cousin’s vitligo has spread more and more over the years now she is majority white but she won’t bleach.
