As for the music tip, since i found out that Tricky & The-Dream are trying to capture the essence of Ciara when she was at the height of her career has sparked my interest in this new album. I don’t know about yall, but “High Price”, “Ciara to the Stage”, and “Like a Surgeon” were my favorites from Fantasy Ride and Tricky/The-Dream produced those tracks. Those tracks had that sassy R&B vibe that Ciara is known for and they fit her like a glove.
And the fact that she and her team are taking their time with this album and easing through it without previous distractions she had with Fantasy Ride, I know its definitely gonna be something serious. I’m actually really excited for this album since i heard all of this.
Ciara looks a fucking mess.
Here’s basically a great summary on what’ s up with the new abum…i found this on one of her fan sites:
THIS NEW ALBUM IS EXTREMELY ANTICIPATED BY MANY FANS AND “USED-TO-BE” FANS BECAUSE OF THE OLD, FRESH-FACED, SIGNATURE CIARA SOUND THAT IS PROMISED THIS TIME AROUND. WHEN LEAKS CAME LEFT AND RIGHT FROM “FANTASY RIDE”, PEOPLE WERE STARTING TO HEAR THE DIRECTION IN WHICH SHE WAS GOING, AND DIEHARD “R&B” CIARA FANS WERE TURNED OFF BY THE NEW POP SOUND SHE WAS GOING FOR, WHICH LED TO THE LACK OF INTEREST IN THE LAST ALBUM BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T FEEL THAT THIS WAS THE CIARA THEY KNEW AND GREW TO LOVE. SO THIS DIRECTION CIARA HAS PROMISED THIS TIME AROUND HAS RENEWED INTEREST IN THE FANS THAT LOST FAITH, MEANING THIS ALBUM IS DEFINITELY GOING TO BE A HIGH STAKES PROJECT FOR HER.
HERE IS WHY I AM CONFIDENT IN THIS ALBUM:
1.) CIARA IS PLAYING ALL OR NOTHING WITH THIS ALBUM. IF IT DOESN’T TAKE A DRAMATIC TURN FROM FANTASY RIDE’S END RESULT, IT’LL BE EVEN HARDER TO COME BACK FROM TWO FAILED ATTEMPTS. SO CIARA/TRICKY/THE-DREAM KNOW THAT THEY CAN’T AFFORD TO GIVE ANYTHING LESS THAN 200%.
2.) WITH THE PRESSURE ON TRICKY/THE-DREAM’S BACKS TO ADD CIARA TO THEIR LIST OF TOP FEMALE ARTISTS THEY PRODUCED #1 HITS FOR (AND TRUST ME, EVERYONE IS LOOKING TO THEM TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN!), IM DEFINITELY CONFIDENT THAT THE TEAM WILL PULL OUT ALL THE STOPS TO MAKE ONE OF HER SINGLES DO JUST THAT. EVERY TOP FEMALE ARTIST IN THE GAME RIGHT NOW THAT THEY’VE PRODUCED LEAD SINGLES FOR BECAME A #1 HIT (RIHANNA, BEYONCE, MARIAH) WITH THE DUO WORKING ON CIARA’S ENTIRE LP, AT THE VERY LEAST, ONE #1 HIT FROM THIS ALBUM IS INEVITABLE. <–(look it up lol!)
3.) FROM “CIARA TO THE STAGE” AND “HIGH PRICE” TO “LIKE A SURGEON” AND “LOVER’S THING” (BY L.O.S/THE-DREAM), THIS TRICKY/DREAM TEAM JUST SEEMS TO HAVE CIARA’S SIGNATURE STYLE DOWN TO AN ART. EVERY SONG THEY PRODUCED FOR HER (EXCEPT FOR “KEEP DANCIN ON ME”) MADE THIS THOUGHT COME TO MIND AS SOON AS I PLAYED THEM: “THIS IS SUCH A CIARA SONG!” AND THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE THIS VISION OF WHAT WORKS FOR CIARA AND THE FACT THAT CIARA WORKS SO WELL WITH THEM PRETTY MUCH ENSURES AN ENTIRE ALBUM THAT EMBODIES CIARA AS AN ARTIST. AND IM ESPECIALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE UPTEMPO TRACKS THEY GOT LINED UP FOR HER!
4.) WE FOUND OUT ABOUT THE BEGINNING OF HER WORK ON FANTASY RIDE AS SOON AS CIARA BEGAN PRODUCTION. SO SINCE WE’VE HEARD ABOUT IT, LEAKS CAME IN LEFT AND RIGHT. AND I HONESTLY THINK “HIGH PRICE” COULD’VE BEEN A #1 SONG IF IT WAS HANDLED CORRECTLY AND ALSO WASN’T LEAKED BEFORE TIME. THIS TIME AROUND, STUDIO TIME AND PRODUCTION ON THIS NEW ALBUM WAS REVEALED WHEN THE WORK WAS HALFWAY THROUGH. WE HAD NO IDEA! SO I KNOW HER TEAM IS LEARNING FROM THEIR MISTAKES AND HOLDING ON TO THOSE RECORDS A BIT MORE TIGHTLY.
5.) THESE INTIMATE/SECRET STUDIO SESSIONS MEAN NOTHING BUT EXCLUSIVE, CURRENT, AND CUSTOM-MADE MUSIC FOR CIARA THIS TIME AROUND. NO MORE 2-YR-OLD OUTDATED DEMOS, RECYCLED BEATS, OR 2ND RATE TRACKS THAT OTHER ARTISTS TURNED DOWN. (LOVE SEX MAGIC, PUCKER UP, KEEP DANCING ON ME)
THERE WILL BE NOTHING BUT FRESH TRACKS.
6.) WITHOUT THE PREVIOUS DISTRACTIONS, CIARA AND HER LABEL ARE ABLE TO FULLY FOCUS ON THIS ALBUM, HER CRAFT, FUTURE PROMO, AND FINALLY MAKING CIARA INTO A “BRAND” (FASHION, ENDORSEMENTS, ETC). DURING WORK ON FR, CIARA WAS GOING THROUGH LEGAL ISSUES WITH JAZZE PHA, CHANGES IN MANAGEMENT AND REPRESENTATION, CONFUSION WITH ALBUM DIRECTION, PRESSURE TO RUSH OUT A LEAD SINGLE AND TO FIND AN ALBUM RELEASE DATE. NOW, SHE AND JAZZE HAVE MENDED FENCES, MANAGEMENT FINALLY SEEMS LIKE ITS WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE, SHE’S NOW IN THE WEST COAST RECORDING TO ELIMINATE DISTRACTIONS, AND LIKE THEY SAID, BECAUSE THE VIBE FEELS RIGHT IN LA, SHE HAS A CLEAR MIND AND CAN TAKE HER TIME TO FOCUS STRICTLY ON HER MUSIC. (IT WOULD BE NICE FOR A JAZZE/CIARA COLLABORATION TO TAKE PLACE BECAUSE I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THE-DREAM & JAZZE PHA WORK TOGETHER ON PLENTY OF RECENT ALBUMS LIKE WITH USHER “THIS AINT SEX”, CHRIS BROWN “GIMME WHAT YOU GOT”, & T.I. “LIKE I DO”).

Saying that her legs are too worked out is not hate it’s true.
