For those saying her album aint flopping, you need to read the many articles that are already describing Rated R as a flop - slated to debut at no.4 in the US, and I can say that barely any one over here in UK knows she has a new album out, let alone the fact that RR barely gets played on the radio. Yeah, she may have the no. 1 album on 4 charts - but that’s not saying much, considering that RR is at no.19 on the BB 100. AND they’re lowering the price to about $4… Which must be to boost sales, but I really don’t think is such a great idea. Rather her sell 79,000 first week at $8 than the 160,000 she’s supposed to sell in one week at $4.

Still, I wish her luck. I do like some songs of this album, but not all, and I’d rather spend my money on an album where I like most -if not all the songs - such as Gaga’s Fame Monster…

You sure you live over there in london? because you surely seem not to know what is going on. Having a #1 album on four charts is not saying much? are you serious. RR being where it is on the charts is no biggie, because it was already #1 on I tunes, and #9 on billboard. It did what it did, which is give her another top ten hit to add to her collection. That there is proving that rihanna is doing fine, and her album will do just fine.

So, as you can see I wasn’;t hating, I was just stating facts. I’ve got both A Girl Like Me and GGGB, so it’s not like I don’t like her music - most of the time I do. It’s just that I’m not feeling Rated R, and, according to her lower-than-expected first week sales, I’m not the only one. I mean, come on, Su-Bo (who is actually not that talented - if she looked like Angelina Jolie Or Megan Fox, no one would be checking, for her, let’s be honest,,,) is going to sell around 610,000 copies first week in the US alone - and I personally prefer Rhi over her, but whatever. So it’s a bit hard to argue about the harsh economic climate when one artist is gonna hve sales like that, and Gaga is set to sell about 350,000 first week of a re-release… But, still, RR probably would have done a bit better a few years back when we weren’t all broke…

Still, I wish her luck and all that. Maybe her next LP will be better.
