I cannot wait for the sequel. Part 1 is included in my DVD collection. Wish it was coming out during the holidays. Tyler would have made a killing. The movie will still do great and I cannot wait. It is also my birth month.

No disrespect to TP — I definitely respect his hustle…he’s doing his THANG and he has opened doors for many talented black actors, but his movies are all the same and Why Did I get Married was the worst one in my opinion. In fact, the only one I really like is Diary of a Mad Black Woman… everything after that was a rerun. He needs to try a new genre…maybe Science fiction or something. His movies are so predictable and have the same theme. And did he steal a scene from “The Color Purple” in his last movie with Taraji? I thought she was about to bust in the church and say “See, daddy, sinners have souls too.” lol. I think I’ll sit this one out until it comes on Netflix.

Tyler is THE MAN!!! I am an avid fan and LOVE everything he puts out. From the plays, to the shows, to the movies, to the soundtracks!!! He has a pulse on the community who wants to see something positive sometimes. Yes, most have the same underlying theme, but his movies are supposed to make you feel something. Most movies (not just Tyler’s) have been “done before”. That doesn’t make you stop going to see them do you???? How many horror movies in the woods, aliens are taking over the world, diseases are mysteriously brought to the US and kills everyone, I love you-hate you-love you again wedding movies, sports teams who go from bad to good and out of control crooked crime movies are we going to keep watching? MANY is the answer. So, you don’t have to watch Tyler that’s fine. But, he gets my money and I get a life lesson, a moment to reflect and entertainment all in one. That’s worth WAAAYYYYYY more than a $9 ticket to watch. GO T.P.!!!!

I think it’s gonna be janets that doesn’t make it because she’s supposed to be the perfect one. She’s the pshychiatrist and has the books and everything. I’m actually excited to see this and I hate Tyler Perry moves as of late.

I can’t wait for April 2nd to come around!!! I”m DEFINTIELY watching it. If I can get family/friends together to see it as well, all the better. I saw the first one around five times (thanks to Showtime); It was heartwarming yet comical at times. I think this one is going to still be comical but A LOT more emotional and gripping.

LOVE TYLER PERRY!!! I’ve watched all his productions and they are not all about men treating women badley. Madea goes to jail (stage version) was about a triflin tramp and a good man.

#23 took the words right off of my fingertips. Tyler is the only producer/writer that addresses the real life issues of black people. As much as us “middle class” blacks hate to admit- we do have Madea’s and wild married couples in our families. Our culture is broad and we can’t look down on a character that may depict an ol’ fat country Grandma type like Madea. If you’re black and never had a Big Momma or Madea in your family then you’re the one that missed out. The black family is the business…poor or not. And I wish there were more Tyler Perry’s to bring positive attention back to the black race.

#23 and #55 have some good points about TP movies. I agree #55 how man horror movies have we saw with the same boring plot? Or the same romantic comedies w/ the same actors? They coming out with a Transformers 3 and I have yet to see the big difference in 1 and 2. Anyway the teaser look really good, but I hate teasers they just leave ya mad.
