Another track from Rihanna’s fourth studio album leaks in the form of “Cold Case Love.” The new track, featured on her forthcoming effort, Rated R, was produced by a production team that works closely with Justin Timberlake, with who Rihanna worked with in the past, called The Y’s. Rated R hits stores November 23rd.
Mariah Carey – 100 Percent (full) – listen
Check out this new track from Mariah Carey from the Precious original motion picture soundtrack. In standard Mariah fair and fashion, the song is produced by none other than Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox. Not only does Mariah have a feature on the soundtrack for Precious, she also has a support role in the movie, which is in theaters now.
Usher – She Don’t Know (full) – listen
More material is leaking from Usher’s forthcoming album, Raymond vs. Raymond, which is supposed to drop December 8th. The latest track is “She Don’t Know,” produced by Bangladesh and written by Sean Garrett. It’s interesting, because the production has a lot more live instrumentation than I’m used to from Bangladesh, while the drum patterns still remain his signature sound in the song. It’s also clearly Sean Garrett’s pen that got this song together.
Wale – Center of Attention (full) – listen
Wale released his debut album, Attention: Deficit earlier this week. Here’s a track that didn’t make the original release of the album, but is a bonus track from the album. “Center of Attention,” produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, is pretty much a point-of-view track on fame, where Wale pretty much makes commentary about how celebrity-obsessed our culture has gotten.
Rihanna isn’t in France salvaging her image. She is doing promotion like every other artist does when they have a new CD coming out. Only the closed minded American haters have a problem with nudity or the way she dresses. People overseas adore Rihanna. We aren’t uptight like Americans. She has worldwide appeal so she makes her money even if Americans are doing tacky things like stealing her songs from limewire and other sites like that. Smh.
Hot song Robyn. This will be definitely another chart topper for her! Congrats!
I use to look up to Oprah so much, but it seemed like the bigger she got the more fraudulent she became. I mean seriously, the reason why she is helping Rihanna promote her album, is because she feels sorry for her. And the nerve of her to accept BeBe Winans with open arms, but putting a rope around Chris Browns neck. I see she hurried up, and announced he wasn’t coming on the show how two-faced of her goodness….
Anyways, the only songs I find appealing is Mariah’s(That women can make any song sound beautiful with her voice), and Wale’s. That dude has the potential to make a mark in the industry. I’m really rooting for him….
The songs on Rihanna album aren’t good what so ever. I felt with her working with Ne-yo(Ya’ll know he got skills with the pen and paper), and The Dream, because he makes hot tracks, I thought this album would be her best but it wasn’t.
And I love Usher, but I don’t like this. It sounds unfinished. But that song “Papers” is my joint. I can keep that on repeat all day long. Try again Ush….

Rihanna’s song is banginnnnn. It delivers way more than the Wait Your Turn and Russian Roulette do. & Usher’s new stuff is falling short. It sounds like B-side tracks that would have come off Chris Brown’s last album. & 100% is a mediocre ballad. On first listen I wasn’t drawn in. Kind of a cheap shot especially for someone like Mariah Carey. & Wale- this guy’s headed in a good direction. I love his sound

Well, this is probabaly the best ‘leak’ that I have heard from Rated R. I can actually listen to it without wanting to gauge out my ears! Her vocals aren’t exactly on point, but the lyrics are dope! I haven’t heard anything else that makes me wanna purchase the album though! Tha album preview I heard yesturday was atrocious! This album will not live up the all the hype or sucess as GGGB! okay I just listened to Cold Case Love because everybody has said it was really good and the song is really good, it’s probably one of the best on the album. This song should definitely be a single.

Say what you will, but “cold case love” is a good song. Russian Roulette has grown on me. But, as soon as I heard “cold case,” I knew it was on. I love this song. I hope it’s a single. Hell, it should’ve been the first single. Rihanna has some heat on this CD. I’m not a big fan of artists who “reinvent” themselves w/ this “sing-rapping” gymmick. It’s ok, but I expect pop from Rihanna. Big stuff. Like Umbrella. And, Cold Case might be “Rated R’s” umbrella. Also, “Te Amo” is a great song. Plus, I saw the Russian Roulette video — kudos.

“The whole thing is too dark and depressing!” Um, hello…with all the press it received, did you NOT See the situation she was in? Of course this album is going to be dark! When someone is an artist, they express their feelings through their craft. I was never a Rihanna fan, and I like this album. This is the most sincere work I’ve ever heard from her. This is the only time I’ve personally heard her sing with some feeling. There’s a lot of emotion behind it.
Some artists best work comes from a tough situation. Look at Mary J Blige’s ‘My Life’ album. Probably her best album to date. Is it depressing? Hell yeah. Is it good? Hell yeah. If Chris brown wants to write mushy love songs about her still, let her go ahead and write some REAL songs about what happened. I think this album was a creative work for herself, to let it out. You can’t be mad at her for it.
