Glad that you said that! It needed to be said! Whether Rhianna hit Chris on the incident we all know about or on many/any others we don’t know about…I do believe she hit him too! Chris wouldn’t have spoken about him being hit also because not only is that very rare for an abused man to do, but people would hate him more if he said so and believe that he too was trying to play the victim or deflect his bad behavior in an attempt to sully her up so he wouldn’t look so dirty.

I love that she’s speaking out on this, but hate that she appears to throw him under the bus when clearly it takes two to tango.What would be more helpful, if her goal is to truly help domestically violent youth/persons, is to have a joint interview of some sort where Chris can participate too. It’s unfortunate that their restraining order probably won’t allow for such a thing. I beleive in the power of redemption and the redeeming power of forgiveness. The notion of having a true 2nd chance is what makes this country so great! Chris Brown deserves one! He is young, remorseful, and open to help and change…and I think he can! After all, he has the world watching his every move to keep him honest.

BTW, it doesn’t matter that she’s speaking out during her album promo period. What does matter is that it appears she has to put her stilletto in Chris’ neck and twist it in the dirt in order for the world to see her in a better light. They both had a part to play in that incident (and everything else that lead up to it). They both need to fess up to that and then take meaningful action (other than chatting it up) to rectify that in their own minds, hearts and behavior and subsequently creating/participating in programs/outlets for others in thier situation to do the same. Both Chris and Rhianna are talented, young, attractive, and influential. The both desearve our equal sympathies, forgiveness, and opportunity for redemption! Live and let live!

I can appreciate the interview, but is she wanted to help young girls she could have done this a while ago. I believe Rihanna’s interview. Chris Brown had his chance. He went on tv looking like a fool babbling about nothing and claiming he aint know sh8t.
