TV BIT: RIHANNA’S FULL 20/20 INTERVIEW W/ DIANE SAWYER

The Rihanna and Diane Sawyer 20/20 Interview Special premiered on Friday night and let’s just say it was very candid. Rihanna spoke in detail about her side of the story and even opened up about her childhood past with domestic violence. View Part 1 above and Part 2 below.

On what she said happened that night:
“I caught him in a lie. And he wouldn’t tell the truth … I was being more annoyed at that point in our relationship he had to lie about something so stupid. I couldn’t take that he kept lying to me. And he couldn’t take that I wouldn’t drop it. And … it was ugly.

“I was bleeding. I was swollen in my face,” she said. “So there was no way of me getting home, except for, my next option was to get out of the car and walk. Start walking in a gown, in a bloody face. So I really don’t know what my plan was. I didn’t have a plan. That whole night was not part of my plan.”

On getting back with Chris:
“I don’t have a desire at all to be with him,” she said… I can’t see how we … would get back together, but I’m also not God and I can’t predict the future.”

On whether or not she hates Chris Brown:
“I don’t hate him at all. I actually love and care about him and I’m concerned about him doing well. I want him to do well, have a great career, have a great life and grow up, and just take this as something that you had to go through to grow up and learn.” [ READ MORE QUOTES ]

I’m sorry, but I don’t believe that she is telling the whole truth. On one hand she is saying that she has no desire to be with him, but next she is saying that she is not God and cannot predict if she will get back with him. I’m sorry Rhianna, but I don’t believe you, you need more people.

  2. Ms. Get !t B!tch

    @ 480….

Even if she did slap him or hit him first, did he have to beat her ass like that?

You and I both know it don’t take but ONE hit from a man…so you a big, strong, muscular man and you can’t take a lick from little Rihanna?? I can see if he was dating Laila Ali, but Rihanna? You know why most men walk away from a woman hitting them? Cause half the time our licks are like pinches to they ass and they know what they capable of doing to a female. I’m not saying a woman should hit a man. By no means. But a man should never lay they hand on a female. Perod. They are genetically stronger than females. ThatFIRST lick he landed on Rihanna, I am SURE (especially if it’s his first time punching her) shocked and scared the HELL outta her..and I’m sure that’s why he had no bruises….I think he just kept going which was the PROBLEM. The reason why is just what he said on the MTV interview “he was angry”….

I don’t think she slapped him….I think she was mouthing off, you know us women are very good at that. Will not shut up, keep going and going and going till the end of time. I think that’s what pissed him off….

  3. Kesha

@478, you said Rihanna will fade away……between Ike and Tina who was the one that faded.

  4. LoveMeHateMe (WHO CARES) LOL

RIHANNA=SHADY PHONY VINDICTIVE AND FAKE…I HOPE HER TIME IS UP.

Chris may have been wrong for fighting her ONCE that left her bruised but atleast he made his apologies respected the incident and RIHANNA enought to keep it between him her and GOD. Not the JUDGEMENTAL “I THINK I KNOW IT ALL” public or the nosy most EVIL ppl in the entertainment industry..THE MEDIA.

For her to be all innocent and angelic lookin NOW…and to NOW all of a sudden speak about “what happened” tells me shes a FAKE AND PHONY. I do not like her anymore for that….its first of all too damn OLD and 2nd of all theyre both MOVED WAAAAY THE HELL ON FROM IT…why ressurect something that hurt you??? Its stupid…move on and live your damn life.

Im sooo sick of hearin about this BS as if Chris REPEATEDLY BEAT THE SH8T OUT OF HERE NUMEROUSLY THAT LEFT HER ALMOST DAMN NEAR DISFIGURED. Hell ppl get into fights every damn…man on man woman against woman…woman against man and man against woman. and most of yall support it everytime u watch stupid azz reality shows…or go to watch a VIOLENT MOVIE or listen to violent songs…soo all u WACK AZZ JUDGEMENTAL HYPOCRTIES…SHUT THE HELL UP.

Personally I think Rihanna really and truthfully spoke out and she had no reason to lie because although she is a celebrity, reality still exist and both she and Chris are human like everyone else. However, some of the comments that were left were extremely rude and ignorant because no one really knows the truth except the two of them. So how the hell can you judge either of them rather your a fan or not. I enjoy Chris’s music as well as Rihanna’s, but what happend was not a game or just for publicity. In the real world intervention is a mutha because a lot of domestic violence situations extend from childhood. We don’t need to make excuses but break these generational curses off of our sons and daughters. Furthermore, Rihanna seems to be a very positve young lady and I don’t think that she would try to discredit Chris by any means, but the truth remains between the two. Things happen and we live and we learn and its on them to take this issue and use it as a steppin stone and not a downfall. In conclusion, I believe in helping young girls as well going through domestic violence situations because if I were not as strong minded and strong willed as I am, I to would hve let my situation with my daughter’s father totally take control of me to the capacity that it would have destroyed him or I.

Great interview, I saw it Fri nite

She sounded truthful, answered all her questions

After this Chris Brown seems more like a douche bag

  7. Conscious Muzik

CL, MEDIAFAKEOUT AND AL THE OTHER BLOGS WORK TO PROMOTE SATAN PLAN!

    STOP LYING TO THE PEOPLE
PEOPLE STOP BEING SO EASILY MANIPULATED
    SEEK CHRIST
ALL THIS BS IS TO DIVERT US FROM THE TRUTH AND WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON IN THE WORLD!

    PEOPLE UNITE~!

  8. justice

I think that we spend too much time in other peoples lives…its all a bad situation and i hope that everyone involved learned a lesson but do you see how the media can run our lives…gettin us so entangled in other peoples lives…lets jus move on and look within ourselves to become better and pay attention to wat lies ahead in our own futures!

  9. law85

#11,the woman can take however long she needs to take before speaking.she don’t owe you or anyone any damn explanation so just be happy she did speak on it and decided to help other ppl. with her story.domestic violence isn’t something that a woman goes through and than the next day going on 20/20 sharing a personal experience with the world.it obviously took her time to heal and everyone heals at different rates.

  10. Home Gyrl

I think people are mad that CB still has fans. AWWW sorry but he does. You will soon see. Rihanna is fake and a victim to her record label HA! She clearly stated in the interview that Chris never hit her before Feb. 8th. Soooo….how does a man who has never hit you for the whole relationship go from arguing to straight whooping your ass? Some pieces are missing Rihanna. I must say when i first heard about this i was deeply upset and disappointed with Chris. But Chris has proven himself to be apologetic and remorseful. Anyone with a brain can see that the incident was a mutual fight that Chris took too far. I forgive him and he has talent so he will prevail. Rihanna can take her ass back to Barbados for all i care. i will be buying multiple copies of Graffiti on Dec. 8th because the media has crucified Chris Brown to the 100th degree. He is a 20yr old that has time to change and become a better man. The boy has undeniable talent so i will be supporting him…THANKS! Own up to your mistake Rihanna because CB has..Im done

  11. nicola

I really dont have any thing good to say about rihanna but I just cant see it goin down the way she is saying its more to it and I think she had alot to do with it.Personally I dated a guy thats from the same country she’s from and they are very demanding, and devious so somethings fishy about the situation.

  12. TYRA IS A LIAR!!

CHRIS BROWN’S INTERVIEWS WERE TERRIBLE. THE IDIOT SAID HE BLACKED OUT AND DIDN’T EVEN REMEMBER WHAT HE DID BUT YOU ARE CALLING RIHANNA THE LIAR HERE? GTFOH!
CHRIS IS THE BIGGEST LIAR AND FAKE THERE IS!!! HE LIED ABOUT SEEING OTHER WOMEN BEHIND RIHANNA’S BACK. HE LIED ABOUT HOW HE WOULD NEVER HIT A WOMAN AFTER SEEING WHAT HIS MOTHER WENT THROUGH. HE IS THE LIAR! HE IS THE FRAUD!
HIS FANS HAVE BEEN BAMBOOZLED! OPEN YOUR EYES. CHRIS SAYS WHATEVER HE IS TOLD TO SAY TO SAVE HIS AZZ. HIS CD COMES OUT 2 WEEKS AFTER RIHANNA’S. SO IF SHE IS A MEDIA WH0RE THEN SO IS HE!!!!

  13. ms vanilla

i really think that she left some things out. hey she said she wouldnt let it go ,sounds like she kept driving the situation into the ground

  14. Reality

All of you need to shut up. Don’t talk about something you haven’t been through yourself. You don’t know how such a situation can make you feel. Or how it can go.

  15. datniggajamie18

i think chris fhucked up straight like dat he hit her…..i dont care wut she did he shouldnt have hit her point blank peroid….but i do think she was leaving some stuff out bout him hittin her before i think she wants to protect chris as much as she can with out sounding like she is……i love rihanna i do i think she did a great job on this interview i think she is smart and intelagent and i think she was honest….for the most part…haha.. i think she did way better dan chris brezzy on 106th yesterday….i like rihanna and i respect her for this interview chris brah u messed up iight we all make mistakes be a man dont fake shit if u sorry u sorry if u not u not dont be fake about shit….i think rihanna was brave for doing this…… i think she did a good job of making them both take blame for what happened…..so ne way i dont like chris even more after this interview then i was 106th interview and i damn near hate dat nigga….but im behind rihanna like no one else…i got her cause if she was my sister id be ready to beat chris brezzy’s ass so yea…to the chris brown fans talkin bout she maken him look bad nigga he made his slef look bad bye beating the shyt outta her…so yea peace

I have to say being a domestic violence victim that I am happy that Rihanna came out to speak about this situation. I see that everyone is complaining about how long it took for her to speak about it. You must understand that this young lady is at the pinnacle of her career and something as traumatic as being physically abused should be taken into consideration. She needed time to collect her thoughts. Being in love at that age is confusing enough. Imagine having 20000 paparazzis outside your door taking pictures and asking you millions of questions that you just cant seem to find the answer to in a limited amount of time because you still have those feelings of confusion and love in your heart. Love does not have an on and off switch. They went from being happy to domestic violence in 1 night. It is hard for the regular Joe schmo imagine being as famous as her. Many things must have ran through both their minds. It is sad that most people these days are or were victims of domestic violence at some point in their lives. I still dont understand why people cant control their emotions. Whether he was provoked or not, the first initial hit should have been it but he kept on hitting her to a bloody pulp. She was right not to fight back with her fists. Her words are more powerful as the victim.

i wasn’t much of a rihanna fan b4 watching this interview……OMG she’s so real… I’ve been there and she’s AWESOME for being SO HONEST!!!!
