This shows that Beyonce and her camp is desparate. No one is checking for Beyonce, she paid for this. If she was in such demand people would have paid to go see her, she wouldn’t have had to buy a t.v. spot. She got that idea from Barack when he bought t.v. time for the presidency. But I guess I don’t blame her camp, their meal ticket is coming to an end. And by the way, the new baby is coming in a couple of months so she has to get her last hurrah. This chick is desparate.
And another thing, why is it that whenever Beyonce and Rihanna are posted in any blog, there are million and one essay on them trying to attack what they do. Beyonce dislikers: Even if she “paid” to get on Primetime, she would not be able to UNLESS she can get ratings and if her fans would not be on the screen to watch her perform.
No amount of money will get TV stations to do things because the ratings are more important. People get over it. Bey will be on TV, performing her tail off. You don’t have to watch it. You don’t even have to be in this thread to comment on it. Some of you are SO annoying at times.

Duuuh, I know how these things work. I have family that are celebs. The said 9 times out of 10 when a celeb makes alot of money they are able to accomplish more things and get more things by paying ppl off. It helps when they are trying to promote theirselvs or be on a higher pedestal so they can make a mark for their name. Which I think it’s sad. Because I remeber back in the day when artists didn’t have to do sneak coniving things just to reach fame and be considered an ICON and a LEGEND. I remeber how they became an ICON and LEGEND just stepping on stage and singing their heart out and ppl fell in love. Now, the artists that are out today…pays ppl to get what they want. They pay behind close doors just to have “queen title” or “king title” or to have the “Icon title” or “legend title”
Artists pays big bucks just to be in front of a mag or to win awards or to be nominated

I think Beyonce is a very talented woman and a great performer but when it is all said and done, she will look back at her career and have loads of regrets. Her catalogue will (at the current rate) be placed alongside Britney’s – some huge hits but nothing truly, TRULY, memorable as far as lyrical content and sheer quality. No prime time special can change that. It doesn’t take much individual effort to make the world go crazy in this day and age, because people will bow down to anything and anyone with a lot of media coverage. They no longer seem to be able to think for themselves – if the masses like a song then so does the average mindless individual. It’s the American way of life I guess, from food to movies and music – you can sell me anything as long as you make it look good and shine bright. But I hope and pray that there are better times ahead for us as people, that we will re-learn to see what is beneath the shiny surface and how to use our own minds to form our own opinions regardless of the so-called “general consensus”. If that happens then people, perhaps including Beyonce herself, will be looking at her songs a little differently.
