One criticism that I always hear of Beyonce is that she seems so impersonal and distant, so this should be a good op for the haters to see who the real Bey is. I can’t help that it bothers me a little that she is doing this; it seems a little copy-catish after the whole MJ “This is It” thing. CC, actually Bey has been taking kids upstage when the tour first started. In fact, before MJ’s death, there was a cute little black girl that she sang Halo too and Beyonce fans know what I am talking about because on bwboard we have a board with all of Bey’s performances. So that’s not something she started doing after MJ’s death.

Another thing, the whole backstage thing and stuff, that’s another she been planned a long time ago. In fact, Bey even did the SL backstage rehearshal video on her myspace and when the album came out, she did the same thing with SL, IIWAB and Ave Maria. She has been doing that, giving us more “intimate” stuff from the beginning of this album era.

I know some of you non-fans don’t like this, but it is what it is and this is FOR HER FANS, NOT YOU so you don’t have to watch it. HER FANS who love what she does will….it’s a shame that some of you take entertainment way too serious.

This shows that Beyonce and her camp is desparate. No one is checking for Beyonce, she paid for this. If she was in such demand people would have paid to go see her, she wouldn’t have had to buy a t.v. spot. She got that idea from Barack when he bought t.v. time for the presidency. I think Beyonce is a very talented woman and a great performer but when it is all said and done, she will look back at her career and have loads of regrets. Her catalogue will (at the current rate) be placed alongside Britney’s - some huge hits but nothing truly, TRULY, memorable as far as lyrical content and sheer quality. No prime time special can change that. It doesn’t take much individual effort to make the world go crazy in this day and age, because people will bow down to anything and anyone with a lot of media coverage. They no longer seem to be able to think for themselves - if the masses like a song then so does the average mindless individual. It’s the American way of life I guess, from food to movies and music - you can sell me anything as long as you make it look good and shine bright. But I hope and pray that there are better times ahead for us as people, that we will re-learn to see what is beneath the shiny surface and how to use our own minds to form our own opinions regardless of the so-called “general consensus”. If that happens then people, perhaps including Beyonce herself, will be looking at her songs a little differently.
