For this edition of ‘Who Rock’d It Better’ we have singers Monica and Mary J. Blige wearing the same Gucci thigh-high boots during recent appearances.
Mary rock’d them first when she performed at Vh1′s Hip-Hop Honors in NYC early in October and Monica rock’d hers a couple weeks ago when she attended a taping of the Mo’Nique show. Take your pick.

Monica wears thigh highs everyday it seems like, I think she’s insecure about her skinny legs, she never wears dresses, and she makes em look kinda cheap.

IMO, Monica never rocks anything better. She’s just too straight to add anything to the clothes. I’m not even sure her gaining weight will help. She just has a boyish figure.

Definitely Mary J Blige. She has a swagger to her outfits. Monica is not wearing her clothes, SHE’S LETTING HER CLOTHES WEAR HER and it’s so obvious! Plus, the short cut on Mary looks much more natural, while on Monica, it doesn’t look all that great.
Monica b/c Mary isn’t wearing them properly…these are supposed to be pretty much thigh high and she’s wearing them barely above the knee, but of course people will go with Mary. SMH Kim from Real Housewives ATL wears them correctly also if you watched the Reunion Special last week/this week.
I’m extra bored with Monica’s style it never changes…or at least it hasn’t in a long while. So I’m giving it to the Queen.
