That’s Neytiri. N she wasnt just the voice, she was the whole pacakge. They took her facial expressions, her acting chops, and added them to the blue character she plays. The character is her, just in CGI form. Thats what makes this movie special, the visual effects show EVERything that moves, scenery, characters, facial expressions, body language…

#15 shes not only the talking voice, but she acts out EVERYTHING the character did! its a BRAND NEW form of motion capture so basically its the characters acting and then being “covered up” by the CGI characters. YOU ARE WATCHING THE REAL ACTORS DO EVERYTHING! very very interesting stuff that will make u appreciate the movie on a WHOOOOOOLE different level i promise! i cant find a link for the video, but it comes on HBO all the time. Search “Avatar: HBO first look” on ur tv. if u have an antenna still i take that back though. lol.

Zoe Saldana and Laz Alonso are black. That`s why Hollywood has them play black Characters . Zoe and Laz come from African slaves that were brought to Cuba and the Dominican Republic . They are as black as Michelle Obama and Will Smith.

Loving the Latino presence!! Yes they are black Latinos..or black Hispanics…whatever sounds better to you…the culture is a bit different but they do have African ancestry in their blood. Michelle is Dominican and Puerto Rican, Zoe is Dominican and Laz is Cuban.
Zoe is definitely making a name for herself amongst the big names in Hollywood! She deserves it…great actress!
