Guess who spotted out in Hollywood on Friday? Hint: She had a couple hit songs out in ’07 but disappeared from the spotlight due to a tragedy in her personal life.
It’s singer Corinne Bailey Rae! She was spotted walking in Hollywood on Friday night. The songstress has been receiving much acclaim for her long awaited second album ‘The Sea” (out in Feb 2010) which deals in part with the premature death of her husband Jason Rae in 2008.

I knew it was her! I was just talking about her the other day and wondering where she’s been. I do remember her hubby dying. Many prayers and best wishes. I’m happy 2 hear she’s coming back out with an album. I will def support her. Her first album was absolutely beautiful and classic. Thanks for this post on such a great artist.

I thought about her the other day. They were playing an old song of hers on the radio and i wondered what happened to her because she was so successful here in the U.S. I never knew her husband died. That’s tragic and she still looks like she’s in mourning. Poor thing.
