I recently had a couple of moments with Sade’s music. I never really listened growing up so i figured i would give her a chance as a mature adult. There were a couple of songs that were really really really beautiful and amazing, but ONLY A COUPLE!!! She has A TON of material, and the majority of it is incredibly boring and repetative. The MAJORITY of her lyrics are simplistic and generic. I even find her voice to be very annoying at times. Basically, i dont understand the cult following, but whatever. who am i to judge u guys. SO I WON’T JUDGE U. this is just my opinion on her OVERALL body of music. I’m sure she’s a beautiful, elegant, classy female, but that is no reason to automatically claim she is the epitome of great music?
Glad to see Sade with a new recording. This song doesn’t captivate me immediately like her other songs but hopefully it will grow on me. I certainly look forward to hearing what the rest of the album sounds like.

I love it. Its Sade and no one can compare. This post is about Sade so can we leave Alicia Keys and other artists where they are and just focus on how great of an artist Sade is. Can not wait til this album drops!! I been feeling Sade ever since I was a teen. I gotta thank my brother for introducing me to Sade’s music. Its beautiful.

WOW GRETA SONG… I Like Sade… I think she was smart with this song. It still has the smooth harmonies and the melodic voice that we know her for, but she updated her style with a raw ass beat… That’s crazy… I would have never thought that this beat would have suited her voice, but she made it her own… She still has the voice for her fans, but the beat is going to attract a younger audience that probably doesnt know who she is yet… Now all she needs is a FYA video, and this song could be a smash… Icould honestly hear this in a club… Im Gonna get her album…. Some of you kids have missed the train to what good, timeless, euphoric music is!!! Sade takes you to a place many of these artist can’t !! Her music is breathtaking, organic, absolutely pleasing to the ears!!! She has a talent that is really scarce in this generic industry!!! People may not believe me, but a shift is happening. All this crap that lacks sustenance, emotion, authenticity is sinking faster than the Titanic!!!’

Love Ms. Adu and glad she’s back. I like the song, though it’s not as great as some of the other things she’s done. But I don’t think 1 song is enough to judge the rest of her album which NOBODY has even heard yet. Sade has never put out a bad album in her life and I’m looking forward to it. As for myself, I have loved Sade every since I was a baby (literally and my mother can attest to this)! To this day Sade STAYS in my IPOD rotation constantly! I can’t ride home without hearing at least 2 Sade songs! Sade is amazing! She’s gifted, original, gorgeous (the woman simply does not age! Look at that face GEORGOUS) & always stays true to herself no matter the decade (80, 90, 00,09) & what everyone else is doing!
