Here’s the promo video for Usher’s new album, Raymond vs. Raymond, which is now scheduled for release on March 1.
Usher’s rep said that the album “has been delayed because we believe that the album is so strong that we want to give it the opportunity to have the proper setup before coming out.” Check out the first single, “Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home)” below.

Yes Usher…finally a hit….I love this effin song just from first 30secs listen. I aint gonna lie I was scared because of all the lacking trackin that was leaking but I love this.

LOL @#1 i doubt Chris had Usher scared…Graffiti aight but if i had to choose between Graffiti and Usher’s MOST RECENT album “Here I Stand” i’d go with Here I stand because that was actually a good cd the media just ripped it 2 shreds because it aint sit atop the charts for weeks like Confessions did but ehh dats da industry…but im sure he was having trouble with what his next sound and song should be like because music these days has DEFINATELY took a BIG turn in anotha direction and im sure he sees that talkin about personal and meaningful stuff like he did on “Papers” aint gonna cut it so he just resorting to the last thing everybody else is…..SEX SEX SEX, treating women like objects……oh and a little more SEX!
On another note….im sick of people sayin Usher need to comeback or get his swag back….news flash, Usher aint never went no where. His last album debut #1, had a #1 single and went multi-platinum…that dont happen much these days. He has more #1′s than any other artist this decade…Usher aint been/goin no where no time soon.

I like Chris Brown! But I definitely do not think Usher was scared of the release. Chris Brown has been everywhere apologizing and attempting to promote his music — tv, videos, and even on twitter – for the past few months and his singles still haven’t broken the top ten on neither the Billboard 100 or R&B. Meanwhile, Usher releases Papers with no promo, no interviews, and he never even performed it and its #1 on the R&B charts. Hey Daddy (even though I don’t feel that is a good 1st single) is climbing up the charts as well, and he has not done a video for that either.
What is that promo about? Artists don’t care anything about moral values anymore.

‘Daddy’s Home’ is my joint! I wish he would release it already! It is definitly gonna be a hit! i don’t think Usher has fell off, I just think that he needs some hot material! I don’t believe their reason for pushing back the album though! If the material was that hot I don’t see why they couldn’t just release it now! Usher is a legend in this business and he has definitly paid his dues! He has a strong fan base that will buy his album no matter how weak the material is! But I do believe to a certain extent he didn’t wanna go up against CB this month. Even with all the trouble surrounding Chris, he is the most talked about male r&b singer out right now! There is a lot of buzz around him, his fans wanna see him make a big comeback and his haters wanna see him flop! Whether you love him or hate him, he is more talked about that Ursh right now! Plus CB’s CD is a banger and he has a movie coming out early next month. The hype around CB is gonna be hear for awhile.
Usher doesn’t have a song in the top 20 on Billboard right now, CB does. I don’t think Usher is threatened by CB, but I think he made a good decision to push his album back to next year so that he could get some singles out and the buzz from CB will have died down. Although Usher is a extremely talented dude, he is a older cat in this game and after his last CD his hype died down. He will have virtually no one to compete with in March, so that will guarantee a No. 1 which I am sure he wants. Either way I will cop both albums! Lol!

Usher, why?! I do not like this song at all. He is getting away from his R&B and R&B contemporary sound. Once again, I have no interest if the rest of the songs from the future album has this sound. This is the same reason I had no interest in his last album because of the song Love In Da Club, also the songs on that album I had heard were not interesting. None of the songs had that Usher signature sound except one or two. Oh well.
In addition, I know Usher can come better than this song. He has that quality of being sexy, subtle, and classy especially grown all at the same time. Plus he is becoming older. He is messing it up for me with this song. What happened to producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. You two need to help Usher out again.
