The video was cute and the song isn’t bad. The concept was a tad bit cliched. I remember Joe had the same concept for his ‘Stutter’ video. But I like how they started arguing on the roof in the midst of her singing the chorus, that was different.

Anyway, this was a cute video and Amerie looks beautiful, but the song is mediocore. She just cannot find a more modern sound that fits in today’s music. I hate how Def Jam is doing her wrong. Why release an album when the official single was only released 2 weeks before the album was released? Def Jam is a joke and only cares about that porn star. They put all of their money into one artist and don’t care about the rest. Amerie said that she and LA Reid had been wanting to do something for a while and that she trusts him but her marketing is way off and her singles are so weak.

I love the vid song is ok amerie still has not found her sound musically.
That video was shot in my friends apartment in NYC. This video was shot professionally and I am not going to lie, I really enjoyed Amerie’s first album but the concept to the video is lame. It feeds desperation in females that they go to the extent of hiring a private investigator and peeking out the window when their man leaves. How insecure can you be? Plus, if you feel he is cheating, stop sitting at home alone with your girls, go find somebody else and let that go.

Love Amerie and the album is great. I get the video, but at the end im confused at why he was arguing with the girl outside? Ok, yes, the he surprised her with a car, but why would he be with her like that…sales person driving it to the house…anyway whatever…i get it i guess.
I don’t like the song but to me Fabulous made it good. I actually like the beginning of the video where Amerie was talking (and Fab’s rap) but that’s it. Amerie is beautiful and I loved those white bandaged boots she was wearing.
Instead of saying it’s cute, go out and support the girl. Buy the cd! Don’t say it’s nice, and you wish she was bigger, then rely on someone else to buy the cd! That’s why it’s the same people on top. At least they go out and support their favorite artists. And Amerie does not have the ability to go out and buy her own cd like beyonce and jayz does to make themselves appear larger, thus in term getting more and more endorsements every year, and getting more and more fans due to hype.
So when there’s something you like go out and buy it, support that artist so that THEY are in demand…If a artist is considered successful they stay on the scene cause there’s demand for them. If not, they disappear for years at a time and because the record label still believes in them, will reinvest and put out another project behind them. But this won’t keep happening. You gotta go out and support. Also, if you support your artist, then the radio stations will be forced to play their music instead of just playing the music of the artists whose labels have greased their palms. Money and numbers talk, so go support with your dollars if you like something. Speak up instead of saying that bull on here about wishing her success.
I like the song and the video. I’m going to itunes and see if i can download the single, and if and when the cd comes out, i’ll buy it.
Oh and by the way, Amerie and Fabolous make the cutest couple. They both are so underrated.
