the bible tells us to watch and pray. but on the other hand if your spirit is weak then you should focus your energy on getting closer to God instead of “signs and secrets”. Whilst I am in agreement with you with regards to the level of corruption and lies- penetrating to a spiritual level that is prevelant in the music, well entertainment industry today. I am NOT in agreement that we need to be studying such ideologies as far as we do the one and only TRUTH- that Jesus saves and the commandments that followed through- to Love the Lord with all our heart Soul and Mind and to Love our neighbour. All the rest is rather periphary. Too often I see people engaged and ready to wallow in such ideologies with no place and or room for the Gospel. This is not the purpose of your faith- or just to avoid being misconstrued. This is not the purpose of the truth.
Artists such as Jay- Z, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and all the rest of there onclave are a miopic speck in the reality of the evil in this world- they are also people that by the saving grace of Christ can be redeemed, they are victims to the deception of the enemy, slaves to the deceiver of this world. We should spend more time glorifying the work and wonders of the Lord as opposed to running investigations into the work of the enemy. So perpetual studies of the work of the enemy are in no way advisory I feel.
The quality of Jay`Z`s lyrics have gotten worse and deteriorated because he is bored and uninspired, not because he is a member of the Illuminati or a satan worshipper . In the interview he said that he is very bored with hip-hop and he feels lyrically uninspired dealing with his label because they force him into a commercial box and won`t let him make music from the heart.
