Ms. Keys is brilliant! Alicia Keys album, “The Element of Freedom” is a classic album. It has wonderful songs on it.
She is an artist and musician that is constantly evolving.–I love that about her……
The song isn’t about singing to the sun. The song “Heaven’s Door” is about a person that has passed away who you miss. You know that they are always with you in spirit but you will soon see them at Heaven’s Door who it is your time to cross over from this world to another.
It is a very beautiful song. We don’t often listen to lyrics of songs just the beat.

This is the first album that I will not purchase from her. When you are a celeb you have to uphold a certain image so people are comfortable with you, it did to over to well that she is involved with a married man. Alcia’s music was about loving yourself, dont be in relationships with other people who are married, and an independent attitude…. so now she is a liar. Swiss is still married!! She is talking about the so-called “Fallen Angel”, not a relative or worldly “loved one”. Satan/the sun god is who she wants to meet at “Heaven’s Door”. That’s why she references the “stairs”. I personally think it is very hard to separate an artist’s work from their personal life. I am giving AK the benefit of the doubt. Most marriages end way before the final papers are signed.
