What kind of rating system is that? Your own personal ratings? I mean thanks but…the critics have already spoken. Rated R has gotten perfect ratings by some critics and near perfect for many more. She has a megacritic score of 76-Sasha only got a 62 score. Rated R has gotten far more raves than Sasha.

Sasha was a commercial success, but hell so were all of ‘N Sync’s albums, and we can all agree they weren’t the best quality regardless of sales.

Whenever I bring up how Britney is the Queen of this generation b/c of all the records she’s broken i.e. her sales, the Beyonce fans go crazy saying she isn’t the Queen b/c she doesn’t have the most substance. Yeah, Sasha is nominated for 10 Grammy’s, including Album of the Year, and it makes the Grammy’s look so irrelevant. They obviously picked the artists who sold well and would likely perform on the show instead of the artists that actually made the best music.

I get why Bey’s fans set so much store by the Grammy’s (it’s b/c she has a slew of them), but the academy is made up of record execs and artists who have won before. So needless to say, the best in music are not always awarded. It’s more of a networking scheme than anything else.

I set more store by the music journalists and critics who have actually studied music, than the greedy, rich Academy bastards that vote for whichever artist’s recognition will benefit their interests the most.
