Soul songbird Tweet has been working on her delayed third studio album, Love, Tweet for some time now. It’ll be her latest release since 2005′s It’s Me Again.
Here’s a taste of some new material, with the track “Love Again,” produced by Charlie Bereal and Craig Brockman. The album is now slated for a mid-2010 release, and will be lead by the Timbaland and Missy Elliott-assisted first single, “Procrastination.” No word on when the single will drop.

I agree with #6 what the hell does 2010 sound like?The only people who know will know the answet to this are Beyonce,Rihanna,Wayne,and the list goes on and on. Unfortunately those are the people that set the standard for what’s hot rather than people just supporting good music.I don’t know about other people but I’d rather hear her sing a beautiful song(I really don’t give a damn what era it’s from)than see people shaking their ass talking about nothing.People need to learn to respect good music. When we accept bullshit music and call it hot that’s what they continue to give us.I respect her 2001 sound and I’ll take that over what is being offered now.When Faith makes a come back I guess people will be saying that’s so 1996.Stop it.

OMG!!! I love this song!!! I have never been a Tweet fan, but if her album consists of music like this…? I’m definitely buying! The biggest problem with artists is that they’ll leak a hot song, and then drop the album months later…by the time her album actually comes out I’ll have forgotten about this song and her..sad.

The Charlie BeReal- and Craig Brockman-produced “Love Again” is one of Tweet’s favorites. “It’s about being confused after you’ve been hurt by love,” Tweet says of the song. “It’s like, ‘Do I want to get back in the game? Should I? Would I? I could.’ It’s number one on the album because it’s that type of record.”
Tweet don’t need to be all over the charts to make music. Music is not about having hits it’s about making good music. She has always made good music so why not.
#32, I agree with you. Some artists aren’t all about selling big, but making good music and having a loyal following of fans. Artists like Teedra Moses and Eric Roberson do (and release) great music, but don’t always sell big. But, when they tour, their concerts, although in smaller venues, generally sell out and they independently make good music without all the hype and push-and-pull of the “system” aka the industry. I like this song, and hope to hear more from her…

OMG, this song is so HOT! I love the nice mellow, light, R&B feel. This is real R&B music right here. I’m surprised that she’s still working with Missy Elliot. Missy screwed her over and stopped her from having a successful career. Tweet should have been a multi platinum R&B artist by now but because of lack of promotion, marketing, and publicity, she never made it. It’s a shame because she turned to degrading magazines like Smooth Girl. I really love her voice and hope that she can make a good R&B comeback like Maxwell did.
I had to listen again…we need music like this in 2010, maybe it will be the start to new music…I’m glad people like Tweet are taking it back, stepping out the box, and singing something that people can relate to….sometimes you just want to hear simplicity and heartfelt music…you don’t want to hear “Diva” and “Russian Roulette” all the time….now if we can get everyone on this page Tweet on then we can go back to the way music used to be in our Xscape and Envogue times…in the 90′s and early 00′s (some of you babies may not recall)…the more we support this techno, pop mess the more it will spin…
