A full day after serious allegations were made about whether or not he was convicted of child molestation three years ago, R&B singer Marcus “Pleasure P” Cooper released an official statement on his website:
“All of the recent rumors and accusations that are being circulated about me are 100% false. They are disgusting and vile; and they are being spread by individuals with their own sick agendas. The purported documents that are also being circulated are forgeries. I have never met or known anyone by the name of “AGoldstein” or Laura Goldstein or Ashley Goldstein, which I believe are fictitious names. I have never been represented by an attorney named Goldstein. For someone to go to such depths to assassinate my character and slander my good name is truly criminal. My attorneys are investigating this matter and will take all necessary and appropriate action to protect my name and reputation.”

Too many holes in it and considering some of the comments on this site, it seems SOME people will believe ANY damn thing negative about you, especially when they don’t like you anyway. Hm 3 weeks ago Pretty Ricky’s belly flop of an album came out and now a DAY after his Grammy nominations this comes out? This is crazy. And if it is true what kind of mother will accept hush money. Something happened. I wasn’t expecting him to admitt to such damaging allegations. I don’t know why people think entertainers and celebrities are above lying or commiting criminal acts. I refuse to believe the other members of Pretty Ricky are that dumb to put themselves in a position to be charged for defamation of character and ruin the small amount of celebrity they do have to be vindictive towards Pleasure P. The moderen world of technology can track down IP adresses and find out exactly who create that twitter account and I doubt they will take the fall alone ,If that’s the case. Celebrites deny everything pregnancies,relationships etc all the time and we later find out they were lying . I’ll just sit back and see what happens.
