I respect Trey’s grind and hustle. But, come on I believe he’s feeling his self too much. Come on, all his songs are for teeny boomers who only cares about looks these days and doesn’t know the difference between looks and true love. I liked trey better when he was the good guy like in his songs “Can’t help but wait” and “Last time” But of course, he was not getting that much publicity as now. Now, he’s the bad “hard core” guy who is all about sexing you up………….. NEXT!
His next album will have the them of some type of identity battle between his ego and an alter-ego that he’ll contrive for himself, his label will concoct for him, or a demon will inspire him with. Either that, or the album will revolve around the “transformation” theme. He’s already wearing the all black of Saturn smh. Besides that; that “Successful” video with that h*mosexual, “Drake”, was an ode to Satan.

I’m not feeling the new Trey music that much. I prefer his first two albums over his newer record. I think since he failed at becoming mainstream with the first two records, they tried way to hard with the new one…but i honestly think his new image is just getting him more groupies instead of more mainstream recognition.

I’ve been a fan of Trey’s since day 1 (the ‘Gotta Make It/Gotta Go days)!
I love a lot of the songs on the ‘Ready’ album as well as his other two albums.
And to the people talking about him “changing” or whatever – it’s called maturing. He cut off the braids and has “grown up.” I’m glad he cut the braids off.
Although I’m not that much of a fan of Trey Songz himself (he used to really annoy me with all the “hood” talk acting like he’s so hard and what not back in the day) he is a great artist. I don’t find him attractive though ..
