According to a BET.COM report, sources from Atlantic Records have confirmed that T.I. was released from prison, just in time for Christmas.
The news comes to a surprise to the entire industry as T.I. was slated to serve at least three more months at the Arkansas Forrest City prison. The rapper was abruptly released from the facility and is currently in route to Atlanta to serve the rest of his time in a half way house.
According to XXL and T.I.’s defense lawyer, Steve Sadow, the superstar rapper will live in a dormitory style half-way house.
“You live within this house that is broken into areas for living, and you are permitted to leave during the day for certain reasons of which would be employment, medical reasons, things of that nature, and you return to the halfway house in the evening. So it’s a restriction on your liberty but it’s a way for you to reenter into society and not be confined within a jail type institution 24-hours a day.”

I will admit, T.I. is very talented, but I could not believe that he only got a year sentence when his crime was worth 20 years! WTF? I don’t think what he did was wrong. Yes it was illegal…but sometimes the law is wrong. He was already a felon so he isn’t allowed to have guns ok I get that. Under the circumstances though any normal person would be tempted to do the same thing. If someone you loved got shot and killed right in front of your eyes, you would want some way to protect yourself and probably want revenge too. Street justice is what that’s called. He served his time and he is out because they know he is no real threat to society. There are much more dangerous people out on the streets than t.i. believe me. In my opinion, the lesson they were trying to teah is that if you are a millionaire in you contribute a great deal in making making 100′s of millions for a company, you will realisticly get your way and everyone who looks up to you, will follow and not get their way and end up in prison, dead, or a dead beat.
