Usher material has been leaking left and right since his “buzz single,” “Papers” released a little while back. His sixth studio album, Raymond vs. Raymond, was originally slated to drop at the end of the year, but has moved back to March 1st, 2010, which may be for the best, considering all the leaks from Bangladesh and RedOne from these sessions. “Stay Down” was tagged as being produced by Nate “Danjahandz” Hill, but it’s also rumored that this track may be from his Here I Stand sessions.
Tiffany Evans – What’s Your Name (full) – listen
Tiffany was originally supposed to release her sophomore album, originally titled Ponytail Krush sometime this year, but a single never was presented to the masses. But it seems as though Tiffany has retooled the album, now titling it Ms. Tiffany, with a release sometime in 2010. Check out “What’s Your Name,” produced by Hit Boy for Surf Club, and written by newcomer, Siiren. I actually really like this song, it sounds like a great album opener.
Mary J. Blige feat. Trey Songz – We Got Hood Love (full) – listen
Check out this new track from Mary J. Blige’s forthcoming ninth studio album, Stronger withEach Tear. It seems as though fan favorite Trey Songz most recently has become the king of R&B duets, also appearing on a track with Toni Braxton. “We Got Hood Love” was produced by none other than Bryan-Michael Cox and was co-written by Blige and Johnta Austin. Stronger withEach Tear hits stores December 21st.
Chris Brown – Movie (full) – listen
This time around, Chris Brown was the king of bonus tracks. His album, Graffiti, which hits stores tomorrow, has so many extra tracks with each of it’s releases. “Movie” was produced by Jevon Hill and is supposedly a hidden bonus track at the end of the US deluxe edition of the album. The title of the track is pretty self-explanatory.

I goggled her one day after her blog and page after page after page she didn’t have any provocative pics at all. Yes she is still young but I was pleasantly surprised at that. It made me think hmmmmm, no wonder she ain’t selling. Her voice is amazing. Even if she doesn’t get the sales, recognition and push that her talent deserves, she’ll have my RESPECT and support. Everybody killed the Usher joint but I think it’s dope! I admit I was confused when it started out with all the weird vocal synths then his vocals dropped and it was Usher we bought. I’m a songwriter myself so I’m all into the lyrics and the lyrics were real and dope! This type of honesty makes the best songs. Peeps will change their tune once they stop being emotional about dudes personal life/choices and start getting back to the only thing we need to care about…his music!
Tiffany Evans vocals are tight and mixed very well. I believe the track is minimal by design but it’s just cool and the drums and bass line could hit harder. A good video could make this song more interesting cause it’s slightly “uuuh” but it’s not wack at all.
I personally dig Trey Songs as an artist, he’s cool and I think it’s smart for him to collab with highly respected veterans like Mary & Toni who are both extremely relevant regardless of what young heads think and they seem to get more gorgeous with time. Do your thang Trey “Hood Love” is so killing all of these goofy ass hood R&B songs/singers.
CB will be ok. Dude is young and made a bad choice but his talent is another thing. I heard this concept before but CB sounds sincere in his delivery and he’s incredibly talented so I can’t say anything bad about this brother. Good job!

I like the Tiffany joint (and yeah, I do get a Teedra Moses vibe from it….). The Mary and Trey song sounds like most other Bryan Michael-Cox/MJB collabos. I actually liked the CB joint better with the guys from “Rock City (RIGHTABOUTNOW)” singing it and as for the Usher joint… I do like it but if it’s from the “Here I Stand” sessions that might explain it cuz i havent been feeling anything from urrrrshhhhheerrr lately. this has a little bounce to it. and most importantly, He’s on the note (for the most part)… would love to get a mixed/mastered version though…

You may not like their music, but they can most definitly sing! They are not responsible for the downfall of anything!! That Hood Love is actually a track that Mary and Johnta recorded 1 1/2 ago and was to be on Johnta’s long delayed CD release.
I just wanna say that the original version of Mary’s song was with Johnta Austin and it was SOOO much better. You can find it on youtube. Listen for yourselves… Soooo much better.
