Oprah picked the perfect occasion to finally interview them in the White House. This should not be controversial to the Obama Haters.
I’m going to tune in for sure. I hope 2010 turns out to be a much better year for the President in terms of dealing with issues like Education Reform and other campaign promises he made. I think the American public is looking for more substance and less of the view of what it’s like to be President in 2010.
We’ll see.

Oprah was the perfect for this ocassion! I enjoyed the President quick wit of humor, the tour of the white house was NICE, the meanings and purpose that they brought out, The Christmas (all the historistic FUN between it….) and Michelle’s confidence is FIRECE and attractive. Love when a women’s able to compliment the spouse and not compete

I thought the special was rather boring last night. It didn’t even really focus too much on Christmas except for maybe a good 15 – 30 mins. Maybe because this is her first interview with him now that he is President.

It was a good special, I lol @ Barack talking about not getting good gifts. Oprah asked him some really good questions, she had been slipping with her interviews for awhile.
Yeah he does feel like a celeb…and that is really all he is to his white masters, goooooooooooooood entertainment, hittin america up with all the worst laws in history, so he the black man takes all the blame in the end.

The special was really good. They really look good together. What i like about it was how they talk about there marriage. When she said when he pissed her off but she still like him. Alot of us need to take note from this wonderful couple.
I think the American public is looking for more substance and less of the view of what it’s like to be President in 2010.

It almost seems like Obama works 100xx harder to be liked and respected, as opposed to actually focusing on the real problems. But then again, it ain’t like it matters, the President is just a figurehead anyways.

Unh…a minute of this was all I can take. Unfortunately this President seems to be a continuation of the last. Quick question to all of you…how do you when a noble prize while simultaneously continuing 2 wars 2 years or more into the future?
I hope he does all the things he promised, but I seriously doubt he will. The White House is beautiful at Christmas, but I need more than pretty pictures for him to be a President I can be proud of.

Know, i agree with some of these comments, for example, we really need to see Obama step it up in 2010 and not just pose for photo ops. I wish people would cut our President some slack, MY GOODNESS, look at all the MESS he stepped into and folks expect him to clean it up in 12 months or less, we are talking about 8 years of JUNK, imagine if you didnt clean your house for 8 years then hired someone to come in and do it, trust me, it wont be clean overnight, it is going to take some PLANNING< which he is doing, STEPPIN on toes, which he is doing, Planning again, which he is doing, a though process, which he is doing, and alot of garbage bags.

I missed the special, so I’m glad I can watch it here. I think 2010 will be the year that Obama steps it up. I’m not happy about everything that has been done, but you have to remember, he did say, “The change is not gonna happen overnight”. 2010 should show us what is next on his agenda, which should be the economy.
Why do people FORGET it took us 8 YEARS to get into this mess? If you gain weight over a period of time, you are not going to get rid of it overnight. If you do, you risk your health.
Same thing with this economy.
But on the flip side, he has given the go ahead in getting money for education, which I am taking advantage of so thank you Mr. President!

I HOPE you’re right. But, I don’t believe you will be. The problem isn’t necessarily Obama himself-it is that the office of President is one that is bought and sold. He has a whole list of people who bank rolled him into office as well as ‘handlers’ that tell him what he must do-so, the people’s will is going to be aa low priority.
