Mary J. Blige performs Tuesday at BET Studios in New York for the taping of Words & Music with Mary J. Blige, which premieres at 7:30 p.m. on December 22, a day after the release of her new album, Stronger withEach Tear.
Mary will also be performing on A&E Private Sessions at 9 a.m. this Sunday.

Mary’s the queen…period. Her swag over the years is amazing. And although she doesn’t have the best, technically trained voice, you can FEEL her unlike some other “singers”. Mary always keeps it 100% Mary, she’s been authentic & raw from the gate. Respect & love.

Im so over Mary…I find it strange that when it comes to other artist, everyone says ish like “she needs to switch it up”, “Im tired of seeing her”, “She needs to take a break”……but mary releases albums back-2-back, never switches up her style or music, and has been rockin thigh-high boots for the past decade (ok slight exaggeration)….but she gets a pass becuz she use to do drugs or becuz she’s experienced bad relationships…WTF????
Anyway, she’s beautiful and very sexy. I hate how she sings live, but you can her emotion in her voice. And Mary is just plain ole Mary I guess (*shruggs shoulders)

Also, how many of these style shows is she going to do? it’s nothing new she can talk about, and it’s to the point that when I hear her talk now, I don’t want to her hear preach and try to make a difference, just sing your damn songs for crying out loud. It’s like each album some channel does one of these VH1-Storytellers-esque show for her the past few years.
