Chris Brown sat down with Robin Roberts recently for a 20/20 segment that aired Friday night. The singer responded to some of the comments Rihanna made about him during her 20/20 interview last month and also continued to express his remorse about the incident.
The highlight of the video (if you consider this a highlight) was when Chris claimed that Riri lied when she said she hadn’t heard his song “Changed Man”. If you remember, during her interview she flat out said she never heard it. He insisted that she did and also added that she cried.
“She called when she first heard the song. And I mean, I’m not trying to say—call her any liar or anything like that. But I played the song for her when I first wrote it. And she cried.”
Even though the interview looks like it was cut off towards the end, it wasn’t. All they did was play some of Chris’ “Crawl” video. His new album, Graffiti is in stores next week..

I was having a conversation about DV with this one girl, and little did I know she was a CB fan so I brought up the Chris/Rihanna incident saying that a guy should never hit a girl no matter the situation because guys are just so much stronger and they can really hurt girls. This chick didn’t even let me finish my sentence before she started yelling that Rihanna started the fight and she provoked him and whatnot.
Anyway, my point is that there’s so many people who feel like it wasn’t his fault so I think he should just forget about apologizing all the time and focus on his music. Obviously his image has been damaged and he can’t change that but he shouldn’t live his life regretting every moment of that incident. It’s not right.

Why are you telling Chris Brown to move on because RiRi did? RiRi DIDN’T move on. This happened in February. In her recent interview, she said in so many words she still loves him because love doesn’t go away like that. In his most recent interview, he said “he has love FOR her.” Big difference. When it first happened, yea, he said he still loved her, but I think the whole world needs to move on.
Why do some of y’all think it’s ok for RiRi to get a 20/20 interview, but Chris never told his side of the story…And to this day, he still hasn’t because each time, he’s taking responsibilty for his actions. He plead guilty, he got his sentence, he is even going to anger management and he is handling and focusing on his career. So telling him to move on doesn’t make much sense cuz it sure looks like he has and only did the interview to answer a few questions or clear up some things he felt RiRi may have lied about.

This is just so crazy how divided we are over this whole thing.
