Bay Area soul singer Goapele returns with her fourth album Milk and Honey. She recently sat down to share some insight on her first album since 2005′s Change It All. Milk and Honey is set to be released some time in Spring 2010 and will include love songs as well as up-tempo joints, including the first single title track.

I love this girl! I just saw her last night at the Highline Ballroom in NYC. She is amazing live!! It’s very hard to come across an artist that sounds just as fabulous as they did on the CD live. She performed some of her new tracks as well. Can’t wait to hear more from her

I like her. more so with this new album. I sat next to her her hubby, and adorable baby girl in a plane 2 years back. She is so down to earth, happy, she even sang her baby to bed. Very real, and natural beauty at it’s best. This will probably be the only album i will be proud to purchase this yr.

Okay…This time I’ll get it right. LOL @ the situation of me clarifying who I was not LOLing @. I was kind of right and kind of wrong. Fourth album!?!?! Wait, am I missing something. Goapele has two out and this (Millk and Honey) will be her third. There was Closer, and it was re-released as Even Closer. A re-released album doesn’t count as a whole other release seeing as how they have almost all the same tracks. Then there was Change It All.
Can’t figure out how reporters and such manage to constantly mess that up. Wikipedia or something.
