The 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards were held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on Sunday night (January 17th). The event is held annually honoring the best in movies and television (view full winner’s list here).

Everyone looked nice. It’s a shame that the rain soaked the bottom of some of the women’s gowns. Seems there would have been arrangements made to shelter everyone from the rain (a covered walkway perhaps). It looks like Lee Daniel’s jacket wouldn’t close if he tried. What is up with Rutina’s scarred leg/ankle? Plus her shoes look very Payless-ish. Nelsan Ellis looks like he just got off a Greyhound bus from Mississippi with a bag of greasy fried chicken in that outfit.

I didn’t watch the show, but ya’ll Mo had no intention of her legs being on display. The dress was up because of the rain, so give her a break. Now, the arms? Nuther story. The Golden Globes was so messy. Cameramen messing up with not showing the actor who was up for the category, award winners basically getting 20 secs to say their thank yous before getting rushed off the stage. I knew they wouldn’t dare do it during Meryl’s 5 minute speech.Though Avatar is visually appealing it doesn’t deserve best motion picture with a story that has been remade so many times before. Nick just look like Mariah umbrella man for the night and I laughed so hard at how uncomfortable she look during her red carpet interview when water was dripping on her. Congrats to Monique and Sandra, it was well deserved. Hopefully the Oscars will be more classy and has winners to truly deserve their award.
