Mariah Carey is gearing up to rerelease her latest album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel as a duets album entitled Angels Advocate, which will hit stores February 23rd.
She and Young Money signee Nicki Minaj shot a video for the album’s second single, “Up Out My Face (Remix),” a couple of weeks ago.

This was my least favorite song on Memoirs. Someone needs to kill me b/c I am about to die with Nicki Minaj and these little character voices she keeps doing when she raps. I just don’t know what happened, 3 years ago before she was nobody on the mixtapes her flow rivaled 90s Fox and Kim but I don’t know what this ish is. I agree with #5 though, I hope that’s Rihanna’s next single.
This is suprisingly a good song, and I won’t be surprised if Mariah get’s another #1 on the HOT 100. Nicki part also plays well in the song. Nicki to me if relatively a good artist. The image of “BARBIE” she’s trying 2 portray doesn’t exactly go with the pitch of her voice. It’s like sometimes she the Barbie…and then sometimes she’s Nicki…I think I like Nicki. The Barbie is just a gimmick. LETS BE OURSELF!

Most of the female rappers from the 90′s were a female version of a male. so her sounding like wayne isnt the issue for me. kim=big, fox=jay z, eve=dmx. so those complaints arent valid. as far as the barbie movement, most of these female rappers just mad they didnt think of it first! i witnessed first hand girls fainting in dc at ibiza whn she came out! i don’t recall that happening for some of the others and i’ve been around for a while. it’s barbie bitch!

IDK, I suppose NM is an acquired taste, or for the younger crowd. To be a self-proclaimed “Barbie” she sure doesn’t sound girly or even feminine for that matter. The flow was off for me too, couldnt really get into the song.
