Mariah Carey is gearing up to rerelease her latest album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel as a duets album entitled Angels Advocate, which will hit stores February 23rd.
She and Young Money signee Nicki Minaj shot a video for the album’s second single, “Up Out My Face (Remix),” a couple of weeks ago.

I love Mariah Carey, but I am not feeling any of her music lately. This has a nice R&B vibe, but it sounds like the same ol Mariah. Nicki, I actually like her. She needs to tone it down a lot with her weird and oversexed image, but I do see a lot of creativity from her. I like her flow, but she sounds better when she’s not so animated like in her single “Beam Me Up Scotty.” That song is too hot and the lyrics are controversial and clever. I just wish that Mariah would change her sound. I miss the Mariah from the 90′s. Nicki, I hope she gets a high fashion stylish and works with better people who know how to mold her image. Plus, I would like to hear her sing more. She can actually sing… her voice is very nice.
The remix is okay by average standards I guess. But I and many others have grown use to Mariah-style remix’s which were always off the chain. She would practically redo the whole song like with Fantasy, Honey, Anytime You Need A Friend and more recently Don’t Forget About Us. With her last couple albums she’s gotten…lazy. Mariah, bring the hot remixes back you were known for! You’re one of the few I would actually cop the re-release album and not just download the 2-3 new songs. But not with this wackness. Oh and I kept hearing about Nicki Manaj and this is the first I ever heard her. What can I say…NEXT!

I’m not team Chris or Rihanna, Translation= I have a life, but just from a music, entertaining standpoint, Rated R is hot!! There are soo many good songs on there, RockStar, Cold Case Love, Russian Roulette, Fire Bomb, soo many.
