Love the fact that a black women with natural textured hair is on the cover of an international fashion mag, but why is it always only the Italian fashion mags that make it their business to place.

The US/British magazines need to step it up big time.

It’s not always Italian mags. You’re probably just thinking of that Italian Vogue issue a while back. British mags puts black models and celebs on their covers every now and again. Anyway, I find Liya boring at this point. I wish some of the other black models could get some more magazine cover shine. Hopefully Jourdan Dunn didn’t gain too much weight after having her son (at 19 smdh), so she can be back on the runway in time for the fall collections.

Italian magazines are different because in Italy our beauty is more appreciated moreso than out here. Italian men love black women. out here, American public is racist and blantantly so, and white customers wouldn’t buy Vogue or other magazines with a black women , because they would assume that it was a black magazine. happened to naomi campbell in the 90s, she was on the cover but the publicists had to change it because whites thought it was a black magazine, so they gave the cover to kate moss.

Drop Dead Gorgeous. Now this is what you call a model. She still can rock and get work is in her 30s competing with 16 yr olds. Unlike Tyra, the fat whale who thinks she is high fashion and couture. Tyra is just bitter bc Naomi and Liya are still fierce and working models. So she tries to create a modeling show which is like Barbizon school but has yet to produce a top model yet. Tyra needs to give up because even Tyson says she is tacky and her show is a joke.

Here’s a statistic for you. About 95% of black women that speak Italian are prostitutes. I guess you could be right.
