Monica is still working on promoting her forthcoming album, Still Standing, with her BET show of the same title. And it seems as though Monica’s search for a first single is finally over.
Still Standing will be led by the Missy Elliott-produced single, “Everything (To Me),” which contains a sample of the Deniece Williams classic, “Silly.”.
Monica’s often delayed album will finally hit stores March 1st.

I was watching Monica the other day when she took the song to Dallas and he was crying. I got goose bumps when she sang that song. It’s a hit for sure. Monica you are a lovely young mother and woman and I commend you and all that you’ve been through. You are a true gem. Keep making those hits with that lovely sultry voice.

This song is a commercial flop. She needs to lay off the runs…she can sang, but this song is a sleeper. It sounds like something left over from the early 90′s.

While I like and respect D Williams original, Monica made the song her own. If I could sing, honey child, I would sing this to my boo! I love this song. It would be nice if it was longer though.

Yes I will go back to listening to my Rihanna. I will also purchase Monica’s CD as well. I support both of these beautiful black women. This is definetely something I needed to hear this time around. This is a beautiful song. Monica is definetely a “VOCAL BEAST” in the game right now. She giving me Whitney Houston right now especially with these runs! I really hope this song does well on the charts(not that Im saying its not). If not, I will still buy the album regardless. Monica gives you quality. How often do we get quality songs these days? Monica is not playing at all. She’s really bringing the “H” in Heat!
