Vanessa Williams was spotted filming scenes on the set of ‘Ugly Betty’ in New York City on Wednesday afternoon. The show, which is currently on it’s 4th season was officially canceled this week by ABC.

What a stupid show, so glad it was finally canceled! Vanessa still looks good
I feel as though Vanessa is aging a little prematurely. From a DISTANCE, not a close up u can still see her wrinkle skin. She is big on botox. I think she needs to take a little farther to a face lift. She is still beautiful. I thought Black don’t crack?
I actually love Ugly Betty….I think they were just running out of good ideas towards the end. I mean, HOW LONG can Betty stay an assistant….lol. The idea has ran its course.
I haven’t gotten a chance to catch up on this season tho.
Ugly Betty was on it’s last leg last season. I don’t think people want to watch vapid excess as much since the economy tanked.
Vanessa still looks very put together-I’m sure she’ll find other work.
Man, I love this show and it was really improving this year well at least i thought so. This sucks but i know one thing Miss Vanessa Williams better get that damn emmy this year only person of color nominated for comedy awards in emmys for past 3 years and hasnt won one yet a shame plus she is one of the 5 max colored persons on primetime tv its a shame but we know vanessa is bankin so she will be set but the show has lots of talent Michael Urie, Becki Newton, Ana Ortiz, and the cutest kid Mark Indelicato im gonna miss them ABC yall are dumb as hell!! BTW Vanessa looks GEORGOUS gosh i wanna look like THAT after 4 kids and being 46 hot damn
@Monica: Wow, I think she looks beautiful. It’s messed up that people have gotten so enmeshed in Hollywood’s brand of beauty, that they don’t know what natural aging looks like. I mean, people get wrinkles, duh. And she’s almost 50. Why should she get a facelift? So, that shallow people (like you) will find it easier to look at her? Feel free to post your pics when you’re almost 50 and we’ll see how well you fight off the ravishes of time.
As I age, I want to age gracefully. I don’t want to have my face pulled so tight that it looks like I’m flying on the wings of a jet.

Ugly Betty was my favorite show season 1 + 2 and then it got severly ‘dumb”. So I can’t say I’m surprised.

I think she looks good though.

Sad. I knew something was up when they started moving it to time slots that it didn’t stand a chance. They set these shows up for failure on purpose so they can cancel them. It’s beyond me why they didn’t move it to Sundays at 8, a perfect lead in to Desperate Housewives, but that’s just me.
I lost interest in the show after season 2 so…….not really surprised. I kept waiting for them to give Betty a “break-out” on the show but……….w/e.
I love Ugly Betty, it’ll be a shame to see it go. first Prison Break now this- whats a girl to do.
this was one of my must sees during the week and there really arent any good tv shows anymore there all getting cancelled and reality shows has taken over
i hope vanessa can be on another show which has her looking a gorgeous as she did on ugly betty she doesnt need to be on a show which will have her looking older than she is

I disagree with the majority here, Ugly Betty is just as funny and the storylines just as good as it was when it started!! Of course there’s only so long it can last, but as it stands now, season 4 has been one of the funniest seasons!! I love this show. Just hope it has a bloody good ending now they’ve abruptly cancelled it…

The unfortunate thing about the show cancelation is that the fifth year is when most shows reach the 100th episode, become syndicated and the performers get paid for the rest of their lives. Shows like “The Cosbys”, “Fresh Prince” and “Sanford and Son” are syndicated and everybody gets paid. “The Game” was facing the same problem after the forth season. That’s why they got cut and begged us to call in to ask that they be kept on the air.
But, Venessa has had…and will continue to have great opportunities. I don’t worry about Ms. “V” because she’s gonna do whatever it takes to survive.
Wow I am thoroughly surprised by this news. What needs to bw canceled is Grey’s Anatomy. I used to love, love that show but after Isiah got his-self fired the show has been in a downward spiral.
Ms V is looking good as always love her.

I think there biggest mistake was taking it off of THursday night before Grey’s Anatomy . . . it was the perfect line up . . . Ugly Betty . . . Grey’s . . . then Private Practice . . . the second mistake . . . was breaking up Betty and Henry . . . and allowing Meade to go broke . . . thus never giving Betty an opportunity to have a family or become an Editor . . . Or at least allowing her and Daniel to have a relationship . . . because seriously . . . who didn’t see that coming a mile away . . .

She is almost 47 years old and all that Botox in the face is starting to catch up with her. You can really see that in the second pic – ewwww! Stop it Vanessa you are starting to look a Hot Mess in the face. Just be happy with what god created you to look like and not hide under that plastic surgery like most of the rest of them celebs who are not physically happy with themselves. You don’t have to be another victim of Botox in order to be happy with your physical appearance.

@ Junk: Maybe I was a little too harsh on Vanessa. I really love her. However the show left a bad taste in my mouth. I just could not get passed the wrinkles. On ‘ Ugly Betty’, she did not have not one wrinkle. Now, as I look at her I see a Sharpei. Its amazing how stage makeup and lighting can do…I do respect her as a mother actresss, and performer….

it was picked up by BET and currently shooting the 4th season.. but whenever they knew it was gonna get cancelled by the CW they rushed the show to D & M getting married @ the end so.. i’m not sure how everything is going to be played out since it was rushed so much to end it like that.
